I love Smoothie King, but this location was a major disappointment. On a Sunday I wanted to swing through the drive thru around 6:30. There were other customers ahead of me: one was at the window receiving their order, the other reached the window and then drove away. I didn't really think anything of that until I pulled up to the window. I was greeted with a recording saying that they were closed. At 6:30? When I can clearly see someone else receiving their order? I waited for a few moments just in case, but was addressed. Determined to get the Daily Warrior I was craving I parked and went inside to order. They were certainly open! After placing my single smoothie order, I had to wait for about 17 minutes to receive my drink. I'm not sure what caused it to take so long considering no one else was in the store. What would have been a 5 minute stop was four times the duration. The only redeeming quality was how great the smoothie tasted. read more

This smoothie bowl tastes soooo good!! Ordered from the drive thru. We ordered two bowls and a smoothie. They gave us the smoothie & had us pull up to park while they worked on the rest of our order. Stopped in today for a smoothie, and like most of my visits here, there is always some issue. Today, for me, they ran out of Chocolate Gladiator powder by 2 o'clock, and that is a problem considering I always order a Chocolate Gladiator. Always see signs they don't take cash, or if they take cash they don't have change, they're always out of various items on the menu, and I've become fed up with this location. Maybe I'm just Basic, but I love Smoothie King. I moved in summer and I'm so glad to be near not one, but two Smoothie Kings. There is usually a huge drive through line and with the configuration of the parking lot, it can get a bit dicey, but the line usually moves at a pretty fast clip. The workers are always very polite and friendly and the smoothies are great. One of the best things about this place is the variety of smoothies they have and the different boosters that are available. Sure, they are a bit on the pricey side, but I would probably spend a lot more trying to stock all of these things at home and end up tossing most of it because I don't use it often enough. The rewards program is also pretty well done. I got a discount just for signing up and you get quite a few deals throughout the month, and on more than one product, or on limited edition smoothies. It also racks up much faster than the rewards programs for other fast food or fast casual chains. One issue I did have is I forgot to scan my app and neither of the workers in the store knew how I could use my receipt to get my points. They did assure me "there is totally a way to do it," but had no clue how to navigate the app. You work here, you should be the expert on the app your employer puts out. One other small issue I had is with their new environmentally friendly container. I was really glad when they made the move from Styrofoam to recyclable cups, and was happy to hear they would be launching a reusable container. The downside? They want $38. You could probably get a Yeti for that. read more

I'm usually not one to leave a bad review, but this location was open until 7pm (with an open sign on) and when I came by around 5:30pm, the doors were locked and the staff wouldn't come to the door even though there were other people inside. It was very frustrating and we were unable to get smoothies. read more

I like smoothies but Smoothie King is not my favorite. It's for sure not healthy. The smoothies have a lot of filler ingredients like mysterious powders that are supposed to make it good for you. It's not clear how much fruit is actually in them, and they cost too much. They do taste good though. I wish they would use more natural ingredients in the smoothies. It seems all of them are made with bananas and fruit juice, but they always use some kind of powder in them. This seems like a way to cheat without needing to have fresh fruit. It's also not healthy so don't fall for claims. They have an option to make it "skinny" by using a different kind of sugar that reduces them by 300 calories. Why are they even using sugar in smoothies? Fruit is sweet so there's no need to add sugar. This seems more of a place for bodybuilders and people needing to put on weight. It's also too expensive here. The small is about $5. A few smoothies actually taste good so this is not that bad. I like the Pineapple Passion and the Super Punch Plus. The King Size is humongous, way more than anyone needs for a smoothie. It also has protein powders and snacks like cookies and trail mix. The cookies are made with enriched white flour and are pasty and plain. I like smoothies enough that I could come here again. It's not the best price or product but there are lots of choices. This is a good place if you need to bulk up. read more

Sadly, I wish there was an alternative closer. I'm not sure this location has an "A" team because the "B" team is constantly working. 1. Will my order ever be correct? From size to the actual product it's a 90% chance in the last month something will be wrong. No, I don't want a medium because you made more. I ordered a small for a reason. 2. Fix the daggone speaker system or turn the music down inside. Somehow there needs to be a better process to hear the orders. I've heard everything from "they" won't fix the intercom so it's tough to hear you to simply what'd you say. And, of course the wrong order is delivered. 3. Could it hurt you to be friendly? I'm sorry your mom made you get a job, live in the moment and enjoy it. I promise if a competitor opened up nearby, I'd forget you existed that is how amazing my experience has been. read more

I would say overall, the quality at smoothie king depends on a couple factors. First I don't recommend doing online pickup orders. Not because of any problems with pick-up, but smoothies are one of those things that really need to be had fresh. The second is who is on staff. Different people at different times of the day had made the same drink and sometimes it's amazing and sometimes it's just okay. I have had one or two where it seemed like it was just ice and slightly sweet water and I was confused, but that might be with new people or something, because most of the time the quality is pretty solid. The consistent con about this place, and I think this might be normal for smoothie king, is it does take a really long time in drive-thru sometimes. We have had people in front of us that got like 6 smoothies before and it felt like we had waited about 30 minutes. So I would advise if you are coming here, do not do it in a rush, do it when you have time just to relax in the car and listen to music, and you'll be all good. read more

Came by tonight and ordered a pineapple mango smoothie. It was completely undrinkable and they nicely remade it. The second one was only slightly better. I made it though about 4 sips before dumping it down the drain at home. The protein powder was chalky and overwhelming. I will not be back, stars are for service alone. read more

They asked me for my order three times, waited about 12 minutes and the order was still wrong. I asked for a vanilla peanut power plus, and it was made chocolate. Waited another few minutes to get a refund and that resulted in me being late for work. I will not return to this location. Tried to turn into this Smoothie King off of Orion road and everyone was in the turn lane going the opposite way as me. Seriously, smoothie king you guys need to change the traffic patterns. I finally turned and accidentally turned into an area marked do not enter (I'm glad no one hit me), but at least I was finally at Smoothie King. I pulled up too close to the menu so I couldn't see it and it was raining. I looked at the menu with the window up but it was blurry from all the water. The drive thru asked for my order 3 times and my forearm and inner car got soaked. A different boy took my money at the drive thru. He had a mole on his face. After he closed the window he and his coworker looked at me and laughed. It was very rude. I came to the conclusion it was because it was raining I forgot to take off my sunnies. They got rid styrofoam cups and the new ones smell like they're recyclable. I went to park in the parking lot to drink some of my smoothie but there was a BUS taking up like 1.5 spots, I nearly caused a traffic jam and it was VERY embarrassing. read more
