I used to work at this location, and based on my experience, I would not recommend it. Management was largely absent, often only stopping by once or twice a month for 20-30 minutes at a time. Important messages regarding employee safety, allergies, and accommodations were frequently ignored. One of my biggest concerns was food safety. There was a lot of cross-contamination between fruits, ice cream, açaí, and other ingredients. Employees often did not change gloves between handling peanut butter and fruit products, which is especially concerning for customers with allergies. The area where cup lids are stored was also extremely dirty and rarely cleaned. I personally have a severe allergy that management knew about. I was hospitalized twice due to cross-contamination, yet management never properly communicated precautions to staff or ensured I could work safely away from the ingredients I was allergic to. I also witnessed a coworker reach out regarding disability accommodations and receive no meaningful response. Quality control was another issue. If a customer never picked up an açaí bowl, it could sit in the freezer for hours and later be used when someone ordered the same item instead of being remade fresh. I also saw incorrect smoothies sent out to customers, with some employees assuming nobody would notice as long as the drinks looked similar. Overall, the lack of management involvement, poor communication, cleanliness concerns, and inconsistent food-handling practices made this a disappointing place to work and would make me think twice about being a customer. read more

They give you calorie breakdowns for every drink and the few times that I've been there it's been in and out in 5 minutes or less. There is also a drive thru if you don't want to leave the comforts of your car. Strawberry kiwi breeze is light and refreshing. When I was in high school, all the cool kids would have smoothie king. Being a not so cool kid, this made me secretly bitter towards the brand. I got a gift card and decided to go finally see what I had been missing out on. I wanted to hate it, but I couldn't. I was surprised to see a large, yet very organized menu. I told the worker behind the register that it was my first time. He was extremely helpful in helping me decide on a drink.The rest of the workers were also extremely friendly. The smoothie was great! I was surprised by the size. My money went a lot further here than it would have gone at jamba juice. The quality of the drink was also much tastier in my opinion. I had never had a smoothie before and this is my new obsession! The staff is friendly and greets you with a smile and there's never a wait.

I have never had an encounter with such a dishonest business. They lie to the customer and lie to corporate. I was visiting and ordered a smoothie on my APP (I order daily in my hometown so know the process). I ordered it and was on my way to get it when I noticed they were not open for another hour. All other Smoothie King's will not allow you to order if they are not open...but not this place. Since I could not get it and have time to get to my appointment, I called and asked them for a refund. They said they could not do this as it needed to be done on the APP. After trying, I discovered you could not do this. They then said they could not give me a refund, it has to be done by corporate. Fast forward two months and I still do not have the refund. The email I received this morning from corporate stated the owner called and left me a message letting me know he issued a refund...another lie. No call, no message and no refund. So not only are they dishonest in business dealings, they are also stating lies to corporate. It is truly the principle at this point... read more

When I contacted customer service, it took 2 weeks to get a refund from the main corporation because they were also unsuccessful in contacting the store for a refund from them. This smoothie king is always terribly slowwwww in the drive through. I have a 30 minute lunch and 25 minutes of it was waiting in the drive through line. Cmon now. That's just terrible. And they're not even busy. I went in a couple days ago to try that and it was between 5-10 minutes to get my smoothie. And the drive through was very busy. While taking my order, the drive-thru cashier got both smoothies wrong. When taking my card both me and the passenger of my car smelled whiskey coming out from the drive-thru window.. I asked to put blueberries in one of my orders and she didn't even put any, she even pointed out that it was the right smoothie when it was actually the other one I ordered. We also thought the whiskey smell would of just been our imagination but the second time she opened the window, we smelled it again and stronger. I am pretty sure the cashier was drinking on the job. Ever since they got this location I've wanted to try it. It's on my way to work and they have an easy drive thru. The gentleman taking my order was the only one working so he didn't get to me right away when in drive thru but I knew other customers were inside and he was taking care of them first since they arrived before I did. Was in line at the drive through at the intercom tonight at 8:50. Waited ten minutes until 9:00 PM and the girl finally says "oh we're closed, we don't take orders after 9", even though we had been sitting at the intercom in line waiting to give our orders BEFORE nine o'clock. Then we had to sit in the line anyway because we were blocked in due to the two cars ahead of us at the window and are still stuck in line. HORRIBLE customer service.
