My friends and I will often stop at this Smoothie King on the way to the beach. Having a smoothie and sitting in the sun is a wonderful combination. The workers here have been pleasant, but the service is consistently pretty slow. I mean, I understand making a smoothie isn't super quick but it's much slower than other Smoothie Kings I've been to. This Smoothie King is getting five stars all the way...WHY? First of all, it has a drive-thru. I went here smack dab in the middle of some kind of rush hour on a Saturday afternoon. This location is always well staffed and pretty consistent with the product they put out. The reason for only 3 stars is cleanliness or there lack of. This location has one of the largest dining areas for a smoothie king though it is always dirty. Spilled smoothie on floor or crumbs, straw's and wrappers are a constant part of the landscape at this location. I know they mainly employ teenagers and most don't have a great work ethic and the location is next to a high school so it may always be a battle to maintain some resemblance of cleanliness. Last time I was in I pointed out to a young man that there was a 20' long trail of smoothie juice going from a garbage can all the way to the back of the restaurant from whoever emptied the trash. He just laughed and said he just clocked out and ran out the door. Nice ! This is the future of our workforce. I will still go but use the drive through. read more

Smoothie king is my go-to place, no anymore... I'm allergic to bananas so I get a smoothie with none and substitute it for something else. Well today I was wrong. I get my usual drink and take a sip to find out a few mins later my tongue is tingling and starting to swell. As soon as I get home I have a family member taste it and clear as day said there is bananas in the smoothie. Very disappointed and not a happy camper about this. The pricing of the Smoothies is ridiculous. You ask for it the way it is written on the board and immediately comes the hard sale for additives. They claim to have a $5 Friday for all Smoothies. It is really only 1 or 2 smoothies. All the others are $6 on up. That is hard to decipher due how confusing their menu is. I have been here several times . The girls behind the counter have been more than helpful. I had the orange immune smoothie. The store is well lit. There are nice chair to sit and watch the traffic go buy. There is also a nice outside area with tables and umbrellas to sit outside when the weather is nicer. read more

Love Smoothie King. It makes it so easy to get my required protein in. Vegetarian options abound! Only 4 stars because they are a bit pricey. This Smoothie King has a drive thru and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I try to pick a favorite Smoothie, but then I try something else and I can't decide what my favorite is anymore! The small size is plenty large enough for a meal. The medium takes forever to drink, but you are very satisfied by the end. The Lean1 drinks are great. High in protein and low in calories. The chocolate has almond and bananas in it. Add a plop of peanut butter and you are good to go! The Gladiator uses whey and egg protein - not vegan - and you get to choose 2 fruits to go in it. Or you can just choose one fruit. The Smooth & Fit has an orange vanilla flavor that is just delish! With all the options available, you could eat here every day for a very long time and never have the same thing twice. Love my Smoothie King. It's gotten me thru chemo and plenty of "I can't eat anything" days. I'd be very sad if it went away! The more I visit this place, the more irritated I become. They are only concerned about one thing...upsell, upsell, upsell. Even through the drive thru! They must be incentivized to get the highest price smoothies by adding additional fruits and enhancers. Today took the cake though...offering a sample of a smoothie. It was good and I even considered buying one (for almost $1000 by the time you pay $1.00 extra for each fruit, lol." I asked if there was artificial sweetener in the smoothie. At first the girl lied and said "no, just turninado." So I asked for a second opinion. That's when the manager came out and told me he was "unsure if there was artificial sweetener in the smoothie because the ingredients were not on their packaging." Really? How do they avoid serving to people with food allergies when they can't even tell you the active ingredients!? I'm not stupid, the after-flavor suggested artificial sweetener and so I changed my order. The lady was so rude and upset that she didn't get to upsell me the special that she basically walked away and let someone else ring me up and pour my smoothie!! I have been getting either pumpkin or coconut smoothies for 7 months here I just had a coconut smoothie 2 weeks ago today I go there on $5 Friday and they say it's been discontinued for a year-and-a-half I told her no I just had one last week I get one to two every week she said no you're wrong we haven't had coconut in a year and a half very funny because that was my favorite place to go at least twice a week and now I can't even go there I know they've been out a pumpkin for a long time but last week I got a coconut with frozen yogurt and I don't appreciate them talking over me when I'm trying to explain it to them I guess they just lost my business I'll have to find somewhere else to go read more
