The quality is consistently solid from produce to prepared foods and it's one of the few places where you can shop quickly and still feel good about everything you're buying. However, as we pulled up, the store was closed and they had a tent up taking orders. (Keep in mind the store does not close until 6pm and the Open sign was still flashing)...I brushed it off and went inside. My boyfriend was looking for a particular supplement and while speaking with the owner he was very rude and condescending making it seem like we must listen to him because in his words "I've been doing this for 13 years!" And "I'm cheaper than online". I understand we caught him on his way out and he was in a rush but that does not mean you should be rude. Why would anyone want to spend their money at a store where you're not even greeted with a "hello!" Instead you're treated with "make this quick!" I would rather spend my money somewhere else even if it isn't cheaper!

He provided excellent customer service, never making me feel subconscious about my weight nor about my ability to lose the weight. I explained that my debit card had been compromised so I had limited funds to spend today, and at no time did he cut his assistance short. Instead he offered additional options that might help my budget and to consider on my next visit. But most impressive was his attention to detail. In speaking with him, I told him I wanted 6 of the individual shake packets. I took them to the register and while Chris was ringing me up, Scott noticed I got 7 packets and rather than letting it go, he pointed out that I had 7 packets and I had mentioned 6, asking if I wanted the 7th. Based on my financial predicament, I did not want the 7th one and I appreciated Scott recalling our conversation, and taking the time to bring it to my attention. I recently moved down the street but do most of my business in Bradenton, but I will be doing all of my GNC business at this GNC location. Thank you Scott for empowering me and motivating me to remain steadfast in my quest to lose weight by simply showing an interest in my desire to do so and sharing your wealth of information on how those items of interest could help me get there. I'll be back.
