I am a huge Playa Bowls fan and always go when I'm in the area near one. I was excited to find one in Sarasota and ordered a Nutella bowl with gluten free granola ahead in the app. This location was pretty popular so ordering ahead is definitely helpful. My bowl was ready when I arrived. There is ample seating inside and outside. Definitely recommend their açaí!

Wow! First time having a Playa bowl! It was delicious! I opted for the stupid Cupid! Loved the base, the fresh fruit, the Nutella, the granola! It was perfect and filling. Such a healthy alternative to fast food lunch and it was cold and refreshing The inside was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly. I downloaded their app for 15% of my first order! Can't wait to go again!!

My husband found this place, and we ordered açaí bowls for breakfast for pick up. The fruit is fresh, the açaí is done right, and they have tons of add ons options. They also have other flavor base bowls as well. The only thing I didn't love was that the granola was blueberry flavored instead of plain. Other than that, a decent açaí bowl if you're in the mood for one!

It was really good and they was the nicest people who served us. I totally recommend it because they're açai bowls are delicious. Best one I've ever had before. You should check it out right now.

Initially I wanted a mango based bowl, but when looking through the menu with many options, chose the electric mermaid with Pitaya Base.

Nestled right on S Pineapple Ave in the heart of downtown Sarasota, it's the kind of spot that pulls you in with its clean aesthetic and keeps you coming back for the quality. I stopped in for a mid-morning pick-me-up and was instantly greeted by the fresh scent of citrus and the friendliest staff. The vibe is bright, tropical, and relaxed--think pastel tones, natural wood, and sunshine pouring through the windows. I went with the Sunshine Smoothie (pineapple, mango, banana, orange, coconut milk), and it tasted like vacation in a cup--super fresh, not too sweet, and perfectly blended. I also grabbed a cold-pressed green juice (can't remember the name, but it had kale, cucumber, apple, and lemon), and it was crisp, clean, and exactly what I needed to balance out too much beach food the day before. Their menu covers everything from smoothies and juices to açai bowls and wellness shots--each one thoughtfully crafted with real ingredients. No syrups, no fillers, just the good stuff. Whether you're post-yoga, pre-beach, or just passing through downtown, Summer Tap is a must-stop for anyone who appreciates high-quality, feel-good fuel. Healthy without being boring, and welcoming without being overdone. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Sarasota.

This time, we had the shakshuka and the kale salad. We also had a warm Immune Booster Elixir. It was busy but service was still timely. The dinner menu features four salads, each priced between $17 and $19, with optional add-ons: fish for $11, avocado for $4, or grilled chicken for $6. Entrées range from a vegan beetroot risotto to a wagyu burger, priced between $19 and $28. I ordered the Baja burrito--filled with avocado, red cabbage, carrot, cashew cheese, and wrapped in a massaged collard green burrito. It was tasty, but it's definitely a dish best appreciated by vegans who truly enjoy collard greens. My husband chose the goat cheese salad, a mix of organic greens, goat cheese mousse, pickled shallots, candied pecans, preserved grapes, house-made crackers, mustard pearls, and maple vinaigrette, also $18. The goat cheese was extremely creamy and paired beautifully with the light, airy toasted pieces served alongside. It made for the perfect light entrée. For dessert, he had the pumpkin chia pudding--creamy, lightly spiced, and satisfying without being heavy--so we ended the night feeling perfectly content, not overly full. There was a gentleman playing the saxophone just outside the door, a bit hard to carry on a conversation at times but very adorable when he played happy birthday for a little boy who clapped for joy. Very heartwarming moment. Go and enjoy a very healthy dinner.
