This salon is clean, the stylists actually listen to your wants. Some stylists are better than other so observe and choose wisely (mine is awesome). The products they use are actually what the label on the bottle says they are (some dominican salons misrepresent the products they use but NOT this one). Their prices are always consistent and don't vary from client to client. And you are able to tip on a credit card which is a huge convenience. They are customer service oriented and if you don't speak Spanish the majority of the employees speak English so no worries. You should book an appointment at least a week in advance, especially if you are trying to get your hair done on a Friday or Saturday or before a holiday. The only complaint I have about this salon (as well as every other Dominican salon in Lynn) is that you have to plan to spend the majority of your day here, think 4-6 hours, and everyone brings their kids who run a muck around the salon, it gets annoying after 4-6 hours.

For a Saturday appointment, I was ready to spend the whole day here because that is what I have always experienced but NOPE. I walked right into a chair with my stylist, Petronila. Don't steal my stylist but she is AWESOME. But as I look around, I think I would have been fine with anyone here. Everyone speaks English here, which wasn't the case in NYC all my years getting my hair done. For me, this makes my experience more personal. In NYC, Dominican Salons are like immersing in a culture. I am polite and learn the rules. But there isn't anything to learn here. It's just easy. My hair is washed, my scalp is so clean! It feels great. The shampoo chair is a recliner. I love recliners! I try to keep from falling asleep. When I get a deep conditioner, they place me under a steamer! This is a game changer. I believe using a steamer at home during the pandemic added the moisture that made my hair grow inches. This is a first for me in a salon. And of course I got my hair roller set and under the dryer. I am going to cut to the chase. My hair looks FABULOUS when I left. UPDATE: I have gone back weekly for a while now and this is my salon! I went natural so I could get coloring, balayage to be exact.
