Cigarettes in CT are insanely expensive. I've tried vaping 5 years ago while in Oregon, but the store I went to rushed me through the process and made me feel like my inexperience vaping was an inconvenience to them. $300 later, I had a clunky mod that was burning my lungs, and I didn't feel comfortable going back in their store to ask more questions. A week ago I went into the Vapor Place and was greeted by Amanda. She was fantastic! I explained that I'm trying to quit and she was so patient, kind, and informative. She asked me important questions on how much I smoke, what I want to achieve, what kind of mod would be best for me, how to use the mod I picked, what nicotine level would be best, she set up my tank for me, showed me how to use everything, and more. I can't thank Amanda enough for how professional and helpful she was, and how thrilled my family is that I haven't had a cigarette since going in the store 6 days ago. For me, that's a huge success! No burning in my lungs, very easy to use. I owe this to you guys. I also stopped in yesterday and was greeted by Joe who helped me pick out a fruit flavored juice just to try something different, and I had the same experience. Friendly, helpful, didn't rush me. I'll keep coming back, they have been wonderful. Also, vaping has come a long way, and I only paid a third of what I did five years ago to get started. Thanks guys, keep up the good work, you have a new loyal customer.

On our recent trip, we had a dual mission: besides getting our beloved barbecue, we had to stop at a vape shop, because flavored vape juice is no longer allowed to be sold in Rhode Island. So, I consulted Yelp for the vape shop closest to the BBQ place, and we ended up here. It looks like a small hole-in-the wall from the outside, but it's much more inviting inside, with display cases full of product and a big-screen TV. We were greeted by Scott, a Navy veteran originally from out of state, who provided friendly, unrushed service, with none of the attitude or snobbery my wife has experienced in some R.I. vape shops. The three of us engaged in a long conversation, and both my wife and I learned a lot about vaping during that visit. We also learned a lot about the military in general, and Navy in particular (many of the shop's regulars are active-duty Navy, said Scott). We also met the store's owner, who is retired from Pfizer, and he was also a wealth of information and a very interesting person to talk with. So my wife was able to get her flavored juice, and came away a lot more educated as a bonus. As mentioned earlier, I do not smoke or vape, so this review may not carry much weight, but, for me to enjoy our visit here, and not be bored, is indicative at how impressed I was with this place.

Parking seems a little tricky- it's behind the building, and you have to travel in an alley to get there. Pulling out, you're a bit close to the Forestville Center traffic light, which might make things a little annoying. But, you're close to the highway no matter which way you get out. The inside has a refreshing charm for the area that feels like a small shop in NYC or Old Montreal. It's a long, narrow shop with high ceilings and black walls. Coming in from the front door, the right wall is full of accessories like bags & glass piece cases, and the left side has all the popular and newest nicotine vape pens and hemp based products like delta 8, THC-O, etc. There's a LOT of these hemp based products- preroll joints, jars of flower, vape pens, and an astonishing variety of edibles. There's a great selection of smoking pipes, too, in styles ranging from classic to super ornate- hand painted, or featuring different characters, and they have silicone pipes of all kinds, too. The prices are middle of the road- you can readily find cheaper, but they're not a total rip off, and you're supporting a local small business. This place is unique because it offers a little bit more than the typical smoke and vape shop, with all the smoking gear, accessories, gifts, & even the increasingly difficult to find Wildberry Incense displays. I'm always down for new and different places to buy gifts in person. Plus, the store manager guy who is usually almost always in there is a pretty nice dude.
