I have had the pleasure of trying their smoke meats many times, and as a connoisseur of smoke meats I would say he wins.

First, I never ever give 5 stars except for today. I was impressed. Coming from Southern California…read morewe are known to have the best Mexican food. Well, this little gem in Springfield in my option might be the best I've tried. We got the carne asada burrito and of course we wanted to try the tacos (asada and pastor). The carne asada flavor was perfect. The quality of the beef was perfection. Not much fat and or chewy part where you either have to spit it out or you have to force swallow. None of that happened with every bite. The pastor (not a pork eater) but I had to try it. It has the perfect crunch and softness. The flavor was well blended. It did not have much cinnamon taste to it. The corn tortillas they use for the tacos was perfect. It's not oily or doubled. The burrito itself was hands down the best! Straight to the point. The service was straight to the point. We didn't wait long at all and everything is made to order FRESH! I had to take home a burrito as we are 7 hours away. We definitely will go back here everyday during our visit to Springfield.

I call ahead my orders to get it when I arrive. It gives them some time to prepare it. They are always friendly and helpful on the phone. They are a food truck with an enclosed eating area, which is much appreciated. The atmosphere helps you relax for a bit knowing that you're protected from the elements. I do tell my friends about them all the time. I'm always looking forward to my next visit.

Overall their food was up to par compared to home cooked meals, the only thing that was lacking was the flavor. There was definitely flavor but I would personally like a little more spices added into the mix. I also thought that their red sauce was a little over the top on spice without the flavor, on a high note their verde salsa had great flavor and the perfect amount of spice. Their agua Fresca specifically their Jamaica (hibiscus) was absolutely amazing!! Lastly the service was great and very nice! Overall this place has been the closest to tasting like home and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a fast of home!

** For those who are neurodivergent, have ASD, social anxiety, etc. **…read moreThe parking is spread out, so it's not overwhelming. There is one entry to the building on the West middle side. They have glass doors, so you can see the volume of people inside first. The bathroom is uniquely placed at the South West corner of the building and, even better, has a half wall so you can quietly retreat out of view, if necessary. You can either order and pay at the bar right at the entry, or there is an outdoor bar as well. I will note, the outdoor bar is more crowded, louder, it is more difficult to hear and be heard by the bartender. I prefer the indoor bar when it is less crowded. The menu is not extensive, so it's simple to order from. There are food trucks available at multiple spots outside, so it is easy to order and not feel too crowded. I've attended twice and the staff are very kind. At the tables in the immediate outdoor space that is enclosed in winter, the patrons are usually extremely loud because it is a small space. This can be problematic for those with sensory issues around noise. However, when it's good weather and open to the outdoors there are extensive options for seating with a variety of types of chairs. One can easily find a spot a bit further from the crowds for a more relaxed and quieter experience. When the outdoors are open to patrons there is another entrance that is a few feet from the main West entrance to the building. This makes for a great secondary option to leave without passing through the thicker crowds seated nearer the bar. However, often a food truck is placed at that entrance which can feel a bit overwhelming. The only change I would make is that they don't provide ice water and there aren't other options to beer if that's not something you are into or you don't drink very much. I think that would be a great improvement to their business model. I highly recommend this location compared to other bar experiences in the Springfield, Battlefield, Republic area.

Yet they do have limited seating indoors (Ac/heat) and about the same limited seating under the patio (heaters only) but most is outdoors, like 1.3 acres worth. Outdoors has two music stages and plenty of seating. Dogs are usually welcomed as long as they behave, except at some special events where ADA dogs are only allowed. Beers are plentiful with more than 8 beers on tap. For those that aren't beer lovers they have a couple frozen drink options that are always tasty. Food trucks vary from day to day but the best way to keep up on trucks is follow their FB page. The owners are super nice and down to earth. They are always doing charity events which is awesome. Don't miss Oktoberfest which is super fun with multiple food trucks! I frequent this establishment about once every two weeks, even more when the weather is nice.
