The appetizers we enjoyed were cheese & sausage plate, ample amounts plus fried jalapeño slices was a nice touch. Onion rings were fresh and perfectly battered and fried. The steaks were cooked perfectly and paired with sautéed mushrooms made this a dish worth coming back for again! The catfish dishes were delicious, tried two different ways. Bananas foster cake and chocolate cake did not disappoint. The service was spot on and the ambiance made the whole experience fantastic!!

FIRST I have to say EVERY TIME I walk through those doors I feel UNWELCOMED! No greetings, no smiles, and no attention once we seated ourselves we ordered 3 things off the menu, when we got our pizza we were dissatisfied. 1. It was missing the extra toppings we ordered and overall quality was not appealing. 2. Instead remaking they just threw the toppings on and rebaked it. 3. We then requested a substitute or a refund. The manager declined then continued to make snarky remarks after i said I would dispute the order with my bank. This was purely unprofessional and neglectful of a long term customer. Now I will not be retuning with my money to Windy City Grille nor the Hernando location. My grandfather's blues marker sits right outside those business doors. I will be sure to share my experience with my peers and family. Management is just purely mean, and this is not my FIRST EXPERIENCE but it will by my LAST

About a year ago I was driving on I55 and searching for steakhouses and the Enid Depot popped up in…read morethe search area. I have been wanting to try it ever since. The restaurant appears to be in an old time country store despite the depot name. The kind of store that has long ago disappeared. Upon walking in, our party of six was greeted, seated and immediately we felt appreciate for our patronage. We ordered onion rings and grilled oysters... the onion rings were huge and heavily battered and if you like them that way.... then get them. I prefer thinly sliced and lighter batter. Rings were served with what looked like comeback sauce but oddly had no flavor to the sauce . The oysters were different, not bad but we all agreed we would try something different next time... I think we were expecting the normal garlic/butter/parmesan cheese preparation. Half of us upgraded our salad to the spinach bacon salad. It was total worth it and delicious! Three in the party for prime rib and thought it was the best they had. The servings were generous. Two of us had filets...they were very good! I had the redfish which was also good and very rich! We shared a crème brûlée for the table as we were all so full...the sugar was a bit over torched but the brûlée under it was excellent! Over all the food was fantastic but what really set the evening over the top was the live entertainment! Needless to say we will be back. If you are with in driving distance or passing through, then this place is worth going out of the way for!

Everything was delicious except the star item, the steak. I ordered the large filet cooked medium rare. It was not medium RARE and definitely not filet mignon. If it was, they really overcooked it. I think they gave me a sirloin medium WELL. Maybe they were out of filets but it would've been nice to know since I was paying for a higher priced filet. I'm sure if Door Dash was told they were out they would've called and asked if I wanted a different item or cancel the order. They ALWAYS make it right. (BTW highly recommend). I mean I like sirloin but at least cook it right. It was tough and not very juicy at all. On the verge of being dry. Highly disappointed expecting a thick and juicy, melt-in-your-mouth filet and getting almost chewy dry sirloin. I would've been happier spending $100+ on the square. Will only recommend with caution. By the way the bill for one steak w/2 sides add-on grilled shrimp and no salad, drink or dessert was $80. Yes I payed for delivery but I would've gladly paid even more if it was a good steak cooked as requested and good service by a great and friendly waitress. The previous owners were so much better and really cared about their customers. Never had to send anything back. Had better hush puppies, salad and desserts too. Opening a restaurant has so many challenges, especially in its first days of business, but these folks should win an award for delivering a wonderful dining experience. Our table of 4 were seated promptly in one of the historic private booths/rooms after a warm greeting in the restaurant's lobby that was built to replicate the original in Greenwood. Shortly thereafter we were enjoying their awesome and famous onion rings and broiled shrimp, served by an attentive and wonderful waiter (Tabatha) where we found both dishes to be cooked perfectly. This course was followed closely by "Lusco's Salad" of fresh greens and tomatoes in a "wet" and tart dressing Then our entrees came soon thereafter; delicious whole/bone-in and head-on Pompano and Flounder (fresh from the Gulf) cooked to perfection with crispy skin, a NYStrip (w Lusco's excellent flavor) cooked medium rare, wonderful gumbo and a tasty crab cake. Next came the amazing deserts of bread pudding and decadent chocolate bomb w ice cream. They were huge servings definitely enough for our table of 4. Having been a lifetime customer of Lusco's I felt as though I was transported back in time to booth #7 in Greenwood with its crisp white table-cloth, its memorable green walls but now at it's new home in Taylor. Congratulations to Rhyine, Carrie and Thomas Long and all the Lusco's and Pinkston's for making this a reality so that more happy customers in the many years to come will be able to enjoy this historic and generational dining establishment.
