The portion size was huge. Definitely enough for two meals. The meat was also thoroughly seasoned, but a little dry. Not a lot of cheese, which was disappointing. I was looking for the ooey gooey cheesy cheesesteak that I've seen on tv and food shows so many times before. This wasn't it. But it wasn't bad. Be prepared for long lines and long wait times. I really like the pager system he has, which allows you to wait in your car until your food is ready. He also has a variety of toppings including mayo, mustard, ketchup, onions, sweet peppers, mushrooms and more. I'd go back, but next time I would like to try the water ice. I was torn between giving 3 or 4 stars and decided to go with 4 due to the large portion size and taste of the food. I think it makes a difference if you don't have a reference point for Philly cheesesteaks. Without comparing it to what I tried before it was pretty good.

On the property, we visited the petting zoo, did a kid's corn maze (along with a slide), took a hayride to the pumpkin patch and had the kids pick out their own pumpkins. They had a ball! The farm also has fresh vegetables, ciders, honey, jams, meat and other items available for purchase. The entry fee is $11 for those 2 and above which I think is reasonable. They also have ice cream(which they all loved), milkshakes, root beer floats and pulled pork sandwiches available for purchase. So glad I tried this place the BBQ ribs were tender, juicy; flavorful by itself but with the sauce it was amazing! The fried fish was super crispy, tender, seasoned perfectly. The jerk chicken was heavily seasoned a bit salty and too spicy for me but I could taste the habanero. Service was fast and super friendly, not much of an ambiance because its carry-out. I hope the BBQ and fish recipes will never change, this place will be my go to place for BBQ and fried fish.

Either time the farm has a friendly team who will go out of their way to greet you and help. It has consistently been a great experience and there's always treasures to purchase. I recommend a visit to Zekiah Farms on days they are having and are not having an event. Both are great and don't forget to take a good look in the meat coolers to see what good stuff you can take with you. My haul included sweets, honey, and meats. This time.
