I also mentioned he had a heart procedure a year ago, and he suggested a mild cigar would probably be the best choice for him. He recommended Padrons, and since I know what I don't know, I said I'll take 3 of them. Well, when I gave them to my neighbor, along with a few other thank you gifts, he was very impressed. The next day he told me how much he enjoyed his first one as he was sitting outside after dinner. I decided to check out Troy Beverage Center, and fell in love. They have a very wide variety of different beers. I've gone back multiple times to try different ones, and I plan on keep going back! The only problem with this place is the lack of organization, making it very tough to find things if you have something particular in mind, and it's also very dusty, which makes me wonder how often they rotate beers out. Other than that, this is a great spot to pick up some specialty stouts, IPAs, or whatever you might be looking for if you're in the Troy area!
