Terrible customer service. Went in today, Sat 5/7/22- 15 min til close; and I get it dude wants to go home. But he is just short, won't answer questions, asked to see items, won't let anybody hold them, sometimes to know if the piece is right for you, you want to feel it, see it, hold it, inspect it. He didn't understand the products he was selling; asked for specific stems, he just kept getting angry. And finally because we struggled to communicate he just said it's 10pm (it was still 5min til- again; I get you want to go home) but had you been patient, kind and listened to what I had asked for we could have finished the transaction in less than 10 minutes. When he yelled at my friend and I, I told him, I don't spend my hard earned money in businesses that treat customers poorly. I was polite, calm and together, I didn't snap and wasn't rude but walked out and will 100% never return. There's a shop by my house and I've made friends with the staff, I typically agree to bring cash if I can for a discount and they often give me freebies because I spend so much there. Such a disappointment; would give zero stars if I could and will never recommend to my friends. I'll be frequenting the shop on Camden near Leigh, behind the hookah lounge. I went in a week or so ago for a new down-stem as mine had cracked. The man behind the counter pulled one out, I put it into my bong and put the bowl piece in (I had brought both with me). First one was a perfect fit. He did a good job eyeing it and the service was very quick and easy. The whole shopping and buying experience was about 2 minutes. Went in again today for hemp twine and a different man served me. Slight confusion as apparently it's also known as hemp wick. Still, easy, quick service. They're well stocked and it's a clean, colorful store. Their pipe selection is also quite eye-catching. I'm a fan of the wild hemp CBD hempettes, too. I would recommend this shop. The prices range from good to normal. A pack of 20 hempettes will run you $10. Same for the down stem. The 10 ft hemp wick was $2.99 plus tax. They've got a good selection of mods and tanks for those who vape, and they've also got a pretty standard selection for normal cigarettes and menthols (and are decently priced). They've also got a good selection of disposable e-cigarettes: last I was there, they had V2 red tobacco and menthols, but had run out of the Blu e-cigs. I've yet to try their cigars, but by the selection, I know it'll be good--I recognise all of the brands listed on there and have tried some of those brands in the past (I've just yet to buy them myself from here). Customer service is also great: the man at the counter helped me set up my vape pen and even gave me a slight discount on a tank when the one from my previous mod would not open. They're not suspicious/judgmental of young smokers, but will card you nonetheless if you seem underage. Overall a great smoke shop and is easily accessible from anywhere in Almaden. read more

I got a vape pen here and it broke within 3 days. After one use. When I brought it back the employee named Fido said "too bad. That's what happens when you buy a $15 pen". Guy was so rude and didn't care if the product that was sold was bunk. All he did was point to sign and say "you should have read the sign that says no refunds". Lol. So crappy in so many ways. So if I buy a $50 pen like he wanted me to and it fails it's still "too bad". Too many smoke shops in this valley to have that kind of interaction. Would never go there again. Management should reconsider their staff and policy for selling bunk shit. Or they will go out of business read more
