The 2nd item, the fried pickle was FANTASTIC! The BBQ sauce was slightly sweet and nice and tangy and the Spicey Ranch was really good too. In general, the "pickle dog" was SO tastey. The corn dog batter was thick, tastey and very filling. I will say that over all, it was delicious!! Those are the good. Now... the pickle was very hard to eat by hand, it may have been easier with cutlery. Also the whole dish fell apart while we were trying to share it. One more thing, upon closer inspection we found none of the pepper jack that was listed as "stuffed inside" on the menu. It is worth noting, I spoke with the owner who is very concerned with the health/safety and permits etc. which I respect & this is only their 5th outing so they are VERY new. The truck does free samples which is already a plus in my book because of the old saying scare money don't make money, if they are willing to give samples I knew the food had to be good. The jerk chicken and jerk pork was delicious!!! You got the signature smoke ring around the outer edge of the meat so I know the guys there were smoking it right and not using that imitation liquid smoke. The truck is only open on Saturdays and is usually from Noon until they sell out, AND THEY SELL OUT so get there early!

I will say, though, it can get pricey, so don't expect to spend just a few bucks. The fresas con crema alone were over $18 lol. The service really depends on which truck you visit, but for the most part everyone has been friendly. The atmosphere is super chill, there's plenty of seating, and they have trash bins throughout the area. It's mostly clean, although there are a few spots that smell like straight-up trash. They also have free parking behind Denny's and paid parking right next to the food trucks. Save yourself the $6-$10 and park behind Denny's, you can put that money toward a drink instead! I seriously love this place and will always make room for it in my itinerary whenever I'm in Orlando. The fact that they're open until 2 a.m. is just another bonus!

While I was a little slow to hop on the Smash Burger bandwagon, I am so glad I finally caught up, because wow! And Irregular Smash has really cornered the market on their smash burger selections. With them setting shop just outside the Ivanhoe Brewery parking lot, the owners got to know quite a few of us because our social tennis league (Tennis on Tap) would meet every Tuesday evening for our seasonal matches. This meant we were no strangers at Irregular Smash. By the time they left, which was a couple of months ago now, my teammates and I had tried nearly everything on their menu, and not one thing we tried was bad. The quality of food their team provided was exceptional. Everything tasted amazing. They were awesome and always just fun and supportive of our tennis trials and tribulations. I also loved that they got to learn our names, too. Made the experience of patronizing their business even more special. Price points were reasonable as well. If you don't eat meat, they also offer an Impossible Smash Burger option - great for the vegan folks (like my mom)! I was a regular patron of their OG Smash and Truffle Attack Fries. I am definitely sad to see them leave the parking lot of Ivanhoe Brewery, but I am happy to know they will be coordinating pop-ups all throughout the Orlando and surrounding areas in the coming days. I look forward to seeing how they grow, and maybe one day they will have their own brick-and-mortar. Until then, I'll be on the lookout via their social media account for where they'll be next because they made a lifetime fan out of me.

We did take our food to-go but enjoyed a beer from the brewery while we waited for our food. The staff at Irregular Smash were so kind and had me smiling through our whole process of ordering. Genuinely some really nice people work there! The burgers were SO DANG GOOD. I would absolutely come back here, but I think I would rather eat there because the whole area is a vibe. The Firestarter is a bit spicy so just be aware of that when you order. The Truffle Freak was my absolute favorite!! I am a sl*t for anything that has truffle in it, and their truffle aioli is FANTASTIC. My only piece of advice when visiting here would be to check the events happening at the brewery before going. Sometimes there are markets or events occurring that limit the parking. The events also usually add to the fun environment though!
