This place is actually underrated the food is that good. Service was decent. I wouldn't say top shelf but they were busy which was the problem and we chose to sit outside because it was probably late afternoon and it was shaded in such a way we weren't gonna be in direct sunlight but there was a nice breeze which contributed to the great atmosphere. Throw back a couple of chilly ones to accommodate our food and everybody was happy. My nephew lives local out here and I don't recall what he had , but he was happy and so was his GF. This place is underrated for barbecue. You must give them a try !

When I entered the restaurant I noticed a few tables to eat at and an order counter. The place looked bright and clean. A gentleman greeted me as I entered saying welcome...that was nice. As I looked at the menu I couldn't find brisket anywhere and then there it was - a sign saying they no longer cooked brisket. I was bummed to say the least but decided to order a combo plate with ribs and chicken anyway. The plate meal comes with two sides and a roll and a choice of barbecue sauce. When I ate it - the ribs were excellent and very tender and I enjoyed the smoked chicken too - all in all a great meal for the price, just wish they still had brisket.

The customer service is always 10/10 and the prices are extremely reasonable for the portions and quality. The brisket was probably some of the best if not the best I've ever had. When I talk specifically about consistency, the food is sometimes heavily salted to the point of no return. Seasoned food and salty food- two different things. This batch of sides were too salty and not appetizing. The ribs were bland so it was hard to accept that the same person was seasoning the food. This family meal cost around $60 and we didn't want to leave the house again to get it corrected. I've had food here several times and it was great. It just didn't hit the mark this time.

The best ribs I've ever had. I even got a slab for the 4th of July and all my friends loved them as well. The brick and mortar was never in a bad location not was anyone rude that worked there and it certainly wasn't a dive. The owner worked very hard to remodel the restaurant and made it very nice and a perfect atmosphere for food, music, trivia etc. Unfortunately covid forced the brick and mortar to close but I still stall their bbq. Don't overlook the smoked salmon either! It sells quickly cause it's sooooo good. I love that you have your choice of pita bread and not the basic garlic toast you get everywhere. Trust me, be a stalker too! It's the one time it's socially acceptable!
