This is some really good fried chicken. Great skin, super fresh, moist, all the things. We split…read morethe 3 piece dark meal with fries, and it hit the spot. I had a nice, crispy diet coke. We had the hot tamales to start, which were pretty good as well. The atmosphere is very kid friendly, and service was good. They've got a full bar. I'm not normally all the way out in Alabaster like this, but would definitely come here again.

Only concern was I asked for Champy's sauce with the tender basket, looked at it in the parking lot and noticed it looked like their honey mustard instead. Tried it, confirmed it tasted like honey mustard, then went inside with my receipt asking for it to be switched for Champy's sauce. Spoke to a waitress (not the one who helped us at drive thru) and I explained that I wanted Champy's sauce. She said "uh huh" confused and I held up what I had saying it tasted like honey mustard. She said yes Champy's sauce is honey mustard based. I told her I've been to (and worked as a teenager) at Champy's before in Tennessee and the color was more yellow than the orange I'm used to (like they added too much honey mustard) and again it tasted exactly like honey mustard. She explained that the Champy's sauce (and red heat) recipe was different at their location. I took her answer and left. Not sure if I indeed had honey mustard (they come in the same containers) and she didn't want to double check or if their Champy's sauce recipe really is just primarily honey mustard. I think the people of Alabama are missing out though on the champys sauce from the original location in Chattanooga, not sure why there is so much variation between locations. Other than that, everything was great!

This steakhouse definitely deserves better than the 3.9-stars it has on Yelp right now! I saw this…read morerestaurant on an app and decided to check it out with SO after going to the gym. So a little under-dressed, haha. The restaurant has two sides, I am thinking maybe non-smoking on one side and smoking on the side with the bar? Not sure, but I did smell smoke when walking in on the bar side, but we sat on the other side and it was perfectly fine/smoke-free. Dejean was our server and we would be happy to have him again. He was friendly, efficient, and attentive but not overtly so. We ended up having ribeye with onion tangles and sweet potato, NY strip with baked potato and grilled vegetables, and cheesecake with fresh strawberry preserve. Everything was tasty actually and exceeded my expectations, to be honest. I will say the seasoning on the steak and grilled vegetables were rather heavy-handed, so if you like things lightly seasoned, you may want to mention that. Their cheesecake is better than Cheesecake Factory's to my preference. Definitely give that a try! Dejean also mentioned that they have brunch every last Sunday of the month and the menu sounds yummy. We do plan to try that out in the near future. Thanks to Dejean for making our first experience here a memorable one and we will be back because of that!

I'm so glad this restaurant is within miles of my house. I decided to come here on a Saturday…read moreevening with my son to have some dinner. We started off with mozzarella sticks and they were amazing. You get at least eight sticks. I usually get soda when I come here but tonight I decided to get a margarita on the rocks and it was only seven dollars and it was delicious. My son got the Smashburger and I got the buffalo chicken wrap, but I got the mild sauce on it. We had Natalie J as our server and she was excellent. She was very attentive and prompt with bringing me my to go box as well as my check. I did go to the bathroom and the garbage in there was overflowing. Other than that, it was a great experience. There are a bunch of TVs here so it is a good place to watch sports and at times they do have live music.

She still got a good tip but yet she could have cared less . I'm glad you have added meat and veggies to your menu . The Birthday menu is okay too. I got the catfish plate- catfish took up part of the plate w/ fried okra, grilled Zucchini, and coleslaw that while good (They up charge you like 3.00 why??) We also got fish and chips unfortunately it tasted like frozen Gordons fish portions We used to get way back when. It wasnt what We expected at all. Guess I'll have to go to Twin Peaks for that . Son got his tried and true Armadillo burger. He also got the Birthday cake while good that icing was as heavy as the icing on wally world's cakes. If you know you know. We got the lava cake cookie which was good and came with ice cream. I do appreciate you trying to expand your menu. Some are hits and some are misses. It's better than somewhere similar that has Father's in its name in Alabaster lol All in all I'd still come back occasionally.
