Peeling back the price sticker reveals a sticker for $20 less than they had it marked up to - which would have been a fair price, still $10 more than Amazon. Also lists things in stock they don't have. When I purchased a battery to go with a helicopter, I asked them to open the box and make sure they gave me the correct batteries as I was new to the format and wasn't sure what I needed. They assured me "this one will work". It didn't even have the same connector type or discharge rate. On a second purchase they didn't have any of the batteries I needed. Mostly it's the huge price differences that got me. $30 more than Amazon for a $170 heli is insane, especially when it's marked up from Horizon Hobby's website. Everyone who works there is friendly so they get two stars.

The selection for used single issue comics is massive, but the selection for new releases as well as trades is always very limited, so if there is something specific you want, it's best to add it to a pull list otherwise you miss out. The prices on everything is usually pretty good, but be wary on some of the singles. It's not very often that a single is outwardly expensive compared to its market price, but every now and then you may overpay. Im a seasoned collector, but if I look at the business from the point of view as a new comic book collector, I would say that the shop could use a bit of growing. The staff, as I said, is very friendly, but they could definitely do a bit better at making conversation easier with new faces. Overall, I think if you're new to collecting, just go inside and ask questions. Be honest and say you don't know what you're doing. Several of them will be more than happy to help. Finally, I would like to see a more expansive selection of trades. When I used to go there, there was always 2-3 shelves full of trades and now it's one manga and one trades. I love manga, but there are trades I'd really rather buy from a small business instead of going to say Barnes and noble.

Today I informed the doctor that I am moving out of state at the end of the week and asked do you have a printout of my contact lens prescription; and then was charged a ridiculous fee to simply be given my prescription - without being made aware of the charge beforehand. I've then asked to have a small scratch buffed out of my glasses, and was told that is not a service provided at your office - but was offered to purchase new glasses. I honestly feel that selling contacts and glasses is the ultimate goal by your staff - all about the money - and not nearly as much about the care of the patient. It's sad, really. I feel I have no choice but to inform others online with my honest review, since there was no attempt even made to rectify this issue.
