What a joke Scammers company, especially Zoe the broker. Made a reservation on July 3 to ship my vehicle from California to Texas. I saw the bad reviews on their page, but I still trusted them because they allowed to put some terms that will ensure my shipping without any problems, But I was wrong. They are the same like the most Of the companies in this market. They will tell you everything is fine and the driver is on the way to you but on the last minute, they will pull out a weird excuse and will tell you sorry, They just forgot that they under a contract and that's not the way How to do business hopefully Noel would choose them and if they will try to convince you, please read this. I contracted SMN Logistics/Brokerage LLC to move my 1995 Jeep Wrangler (from my uncles estate) from my aunt's house to mine. The quoted and stated in writing amount was 199.00. They required a 75.00 deposit to be paid to secure the date of pickup (sept 15th in the afternoon)and I was told drop off was same day. I paid the 75.00 via an invoice link and i received an invoice back stated CASH ON DELIVERY 124.00. I confirmed this with Zoe the contact who reached out on text. I received a text from another company who informed me that SMN Logistics was peddling my order at 650.00 for payment which is NOT the 199.00 i was quoted. I was sent a screenshot of what the order looked like in the drivers system. I reached out to SMN logisitics and asked why the change. They then sent me a screen shot of the same view but with 124.00 due (likely changed it only to get the picture). THey assured me no additional monies beyond the total of 199 would be required. Then starts the texts. Our driver wants 550 can you increase budget? NO. i state i can only afford 124.00 cash on delivery as that is what you quoted me. More texts 450.00 400.00 all over. asking me again to increase my budget to which i stated no. Finally i asked for a refund and cancelation of the pickup as they just gave me a bad gut feeling. After several requests to cancel and refund my 75.00 they proceeded to bully me then state because i was canceling the day of I had to pay 200.00. At that point i stated i was going to get legal action started. If they had just done the auto pick up and stuck to the amount that was agreed upon I would not be doing all this. But they refused repeatedly. Finally agreed to give me my refund and cancel it but they stated 4 days to receive it. Countdown is on. What a scam artist company. Never again. read more
