The thing about Glacier is that nearly all surrounding businesses are owned by a company called Pursuit which brings in about 75% young international workers who can't drive on their J-1 visas. Because they can't drive, they're captive to the area they live in, oftentimes in very poor living conditions. Because of this, they act somewhat like zombies who are homesick and incapable of providing a home-like atmosphere. Places like Glacier's Edge stand out because they're locally owned--and the quality is so much better for it. Bathrooms were also clean.
