The front desk clerk listened to my problem and I was placed on hold, she returned after a few minutes and I was able to be scheduled for an afternoon (same day) appointment. Receptionist was rude and told me she would call me back with my benefits. 3 weeks later I walk in to check on benefits and I got attitude when I asked "why wasn't I notified?" When my 2 children and I came in for our appointments we were treated poorly. The has office antiquated equipment, doesn't smell like a clean dental office (you know the scent I'm talking about), receptionists were rude/short and have the attitude like they are better than anyone, dental assistant was just as bad. Dr Wennick himself had a poor bedside manner. He referred me out for root canals and told me to call him when I'm done to get crowns and give me a dose of antibiotics. So I call the office to schedule and they rudely explained that I have to have that pre authorized. Okay. Well guess what, they never did It. Called back again after a cavity broke to get help and they basically told me they can't help me. Now I go in to get my records for my children and I yesterday and they want to charge me for my records. EVEN IF THEY ARE BEING TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER DENTIST! Again, been in the medical field for 20 plus years. The ONLY time you should charge is when it's Lawyers requesting. Of course more rudeness from the elder receptionist. I immediately called my insurance company and they told me that they are in the wrong. So I'm currently drafting up a formal complaint because they are trying to charge me something they have already been paid for. One is going to Delta Dental, Cigna Dental, Better Business Bureau and the insurance commissioner. Do yourself a favor and do your research. They don't care about their patients. They are miserable human beings. They do not care about continuity or patient care. It is clearly turn them and burn them kind of practice. God forbid I advocate for myself and my children. They also don't like if you're an educated person and you push back with questions. Dr Wennick and staff. I was never contacted by the dentistry for their negligence. I filed for an appeal with my insurance companies. The manager Tammy, Never once spoke to me directly. My insurance company stated that the office manager advised she had spoken to me. She stated that I was reimbursed my copayment. Dental equipment looks like leftover props out of a 70's horror movie. Went in for a first time visit to this office for a routine cleaning and total time in the chair was under 3 minutes(I timed it). Teeth don't feel like they've been touch at all. Overall not worth the time my insurance company will spend processing the claim, much less the money they will be charged. I'm contacting insurance today to try to stop payment for service(or lack there of)!
