I wasn't planning to stop for gas at Smith's, but I'm so glad I did . The total at the pump was about $3.05 per gallon, and with my rewards card I ended up paying $2.85, a savings of 0.20 per gallon. That was a very pleasant surprise! Smith's continues to be one of my favorite stores. They have quality produce, good meats, a large selection of all the things I need, and good sales prices. I love their digital coupons. I'm writing this on the last day of 2025, and I just wanted to say thank you, Smith's, for being reliable all year long. I had a pretty good experience here remotely, through an Instacart shopper; and a very good shopping experience when I had to follow up in person to seek some redress for 1 of 6 antibacterial liquid soap bottles that I had been charged for but was never delivered. After I had zero success in receiving a relevant response to emails sent to Smith's online customer service, the customer service rep at this Smith's was very friendly and accommodating, refunding me $5.00 even though it was actually an Instacart shopper who had made the delivery error. Then, since I was already in the store double masked, I determined that I might as well shop for groceries and other necessary supplies. Over two hours later I walked out with over $150 worth of groceries, replacement batteries, and 1 very expensive box of Align probiotic capsules. Up to this point, while Diane has not gone to any store, the only times I have been outside the home for the last three months of largely self-imposed lockdown have been to visit grocery stores, drugstores, Michael's, Home Depot, gas stations, and a very few drive-thrus of fast food restaurants to pick up burgers, Mexican fare, or Kentucky Fried Chicken. So I have been noting which establishments tend to have certain types of items, and what they often lack, which I will share somewhat in this review. This Smith's was entirely devoid of supplies of alcohol wet wipes and antibacterial liquid soap, but was well stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, and paper plates. And I took advantage of its promotion of bottles of Suave Juicy Green Apple shampoo and conditioner for $1.00 each that I had recently seen selling on Amazon for $12.00 a bottle, which after three months of fruitless searching in drugstores I was getting ready to pay. So this trip saved me at least $33.00! Pickings were slim in canned vegetables and soups, as well as bagels, but heavy on Ocean Spray Diet 5 cranberry juice products, Jell-O sugar free puddings, frozen packages of Sea Pak shrimp and clam strips, and choice grade steaks--although customers are currently limited here to 2 packages each of fresh beef, chicken, and pork. The snow peas in stir fry packages looked much fresher than those that were sold loose, so I opted for the pre-packaged variety. And I took advantage of abundant Guerrero corn and flour tortilla products. A friendly male checker opened his register after holding the Align package for me and patiently awaiting my return. It was a nice shopping experience that should hold me and Diane for awhile as we continue to eat exclusively at home. But with many Vegas and Laughlin casinos and restaurants now reopened again, this circumstance may soon change! read more

I've been shopping at this location for 5 years, when we decided to move on base I continued to drive to this location. While in the produce section an older hispanic man with salt and pepper hair employed with smiths was stocking the same red onions I was headed towards. I noticed he pulled tissue from his pocket and vigorously began wiping and digging inside his nose. I was instantly upset when I seen him back in his pocket and went back to sticking the onions. Not to mention his mask was pulled down under his chin, I restrained myself from calling him out. I don't usually leave a review. I love this store and the employees are always nice and respectful, but just a special thanks to Shawndra for making my trip to the store completely miserable. Especially when I was nice and respectful to you the entire time. I get it, I work in the fast food industry. You worked all day and have to deal with difficult customers the whole time (especially when you have CUSTOMER SERVICE written on your name tag). But no customer should be treated how you treated me. From the very start of my transaction with you, you had a nasty attitude. Sorry you had to text someone if I could have a discount on something that was broken and missing part of its product. I would have gabbed a different one but there was only one left on the shelf and you didn't want to check or ask someone else if their was more. My purchase was a little more than I thought so I understand that's frustrating to wait for me to figure out my finances and reevaluate my purchase for about 30 seconds, so again I apologize. I really love smiths fuel centers everywhere. Smiths gives great incentives for shopping at their grocery stores by offering huge discounts on gas. When shopping for a family of six I can easily get a dollar off each gallon in the month. Also, often times I can just pull up and buy simple items that I don't want to stand in line inside the grocery store for like chips, waters, and even wood for the fire pit. Or sometimes automotive related items like oil, wiper fluid or antifreeze! I highly recommend this place,a real neighborhood favorite! read more

Smiths Grocery: I've encountered various store clerks who have given me the wrong information and just didn't seem like they knew their job. This was one of those experiences when they told my husband they didn't have Visa gift cards and steered him to a Visa Prepaid Card. I had nothing but trouble trying to activate the card after 3 phone call attempts to the card company, calling the Kroger 800 number and then finally the store. After talking to 2 different people (store manager never picked up) I was sent to ask for Tracey. She was so nice, friendly, and helpful. When I checked out the card was still f'd up and she spent at least 20 minutes working on getting it activated and working. She was awesome and didn't give up. I'm grateful for her diligence, patience, & persistence. She made up for the incompetence of the dumbo who said they didn't have Visa gift cards. Moral of the story: don't send your husband to get something he's not familiar with. I had to go to CVS to find the gift card before returning to Smiths! But Tracey rocked it. read more

Normally just barely an ok store but to be fair it's a block from the house. Today was an absolute circus and COVID has little to do with it especially 6 months in and the logistics has mostly resolved. I think it is mostly due to the demographics and affluence of the neighborhood. Here I had to go to the parking lot to get my own cart and there were ZERO produce bags. Produce was also showing wilt. I've been to the Eastern and Horizon ridge store and that is a beautiful store and well stocked. It's also in a mostly white affluent neighborhood. Time for me to take a break from Smiths and drive the 3 miles to Sprouts or "gasp!" WalMart supercenter in the more affluent Aliante area. The men's bathroom smells worse than a public bathroom at the beach in the middle summer. If you already shop at Smith's then I assume that you already have the rewards card as well right? If not then you are wasting time and money for getting the card is free and whenever you shop for groceries, not only do you get discounted prices on items through out the store, you also build up points towards discounts on gasoline! Everybody needs gas! Well except for those that have electric, walk, bike, take the bus etc. Another plus is that they are open 24 hours. The pumps are that is. There is an attendant during the day but they take off around 9 or 10 pm I think? Anyways just because they are open 24/7 doesnt mean that everything is peachy. Case in point. I was on the way home from a show off the strip one friday night and stopped in here for gas. It was a little bit after midnight. Now I for one have never felt more aware of my surroundings until that night when about 3 ladies were kind of stumbling towards me. I assumed they just came from the PT's Bar about 80 yards away. They asked me where I was going. I said home. All three of started asking me if there was a party at my house. At that moment a quick thought was "Where were these chicks when I was single?" LOL. Anyways, I finished up my gas and told them I was going home to my lovely wife and two boys. They turned around and went back towards the bar. Easy access to this gas station from the streets. Well lit up at night. All of the pumps in working order. The bonus is that you can fuel up and shop at Smith's. With your alternative ID you can get your cents off per gallon. If someone is fueling up in front of you, there is enough space to back up or exit. read more

Smiths has the cheapest gas I can fine. Even cheaper than the base usually by 15 cents. I give it four stars because it's always busy at pumps I think there's 10 pumps. You'll most likely have to wait a few minutes for someone else to finished up but other than that it's a great place to go and if you shop there make sure to use your rewards points to save 10 cent every time you get 100 points! read more

I have been going to this store for over 9 years everyone that works there are awesome. My only problem is I spend $300.00 to get 30 cents off gas . But yesterday I went past Smiths and the gas price was $354 a gallon and about 1 mile down the street it's 224 smiths is 28 cents more . And I don't have to buy groceries there. It's sad they are getting so greedy . And I have seen mid grade 20 cents higher it should only be 10 cents . I used to spend a lot of money there but not anymore. read more
