The grocery store has the essentials. COVID has caused the shelves to be empty at times, but I have come to expect that. The inside of the store is worn in. The staff does the best they can considering the neighborhood panhandlers, and extremely busy parking lot. They all have been helpful, and quick to help out if you can catch them. This is my to-go grocery store. I've come to like it more than the Wal-Mart that is near by. It has better meats, vegetables, and fruits to choose from. I have the rewards card so most of the foods I buy are marked down which is helpful. I do recommend everyone get a card when they shop here because I bought meats that were up to 26$ and with the rewards card it can mark down to as much as 12$! I don't know about you but that's a steal! I wouldn't buy alcohol here though, it's kind of on the pricey side. Although my favorite Moscato is only 7$! The staff aren't really that helpful, it's pretty much a hit or miss. But it's pretty clean & organized and it gets the job done! read more

Overall a terrible establishment, most of the people are rude and some of their products are in bad shape. Yesterday I bought an 8 pack of Yoplait yogurt and 2 cases of water, without my knowledge I had water leaking in the back seat of my car (it wasn't much). When I got home I checked my yogurt (I've had problems with the yogurts there before) only to find all of the yogurts cups do not have bottoms. Wonderful! read more

Whew Chile! Avoid this Smiths! This is the second Smith's I've been to since I've been living in Las Vegas and they are ridiculous. I stopped in this particular Smith's cause it was on my way home from work and all i needed was some collard greens and milk. So, I'm over in the produce section getting some collard greens like i previously mentioned, but i didn't see the price. So, i asked the the rude chubby guy that was working in the same section "Can you tell me how much these collard greens are because they don't have a price" his reply was "whatever price you see on the other greens is the price of the collard greens" hmmmmm...well smart ass! It's turnips, curly mustards, spinach and kale and they all have different prices. He was like "well i don't know." Wtf?? Really? Ain't this YOUR JOB?! I am totally confused So,i didn't even argue with the idiot nor did i go back and forth cause im in a rush and gotta get home and prepare dinner. Anywho, i don't know what's up with these workers and they attitides? Like, homie just do your job! This is my go to grocery store on the eastside. Probably less than two miles from my house. The staff is nice. I believe her name is Brenda? She deserves a gold medal in hospitality. I love places that remember you and are extra nice. The store is usually clean. I usually frequent at night time and there's never really a line. I wish the flower section wasn't in the front though.. I'm sure the staff would be questionable about a person with a full cart shopping up front. Overall for the prices, cleanliness, and sales this is definitely my grocery store of choice. Now if only they put a Starbucks in here.. read more

This smith's is the closest to my house. It is a tad worn down and has panhandlers in the parking lot. The parking lot is usually crowded due to customers getting the deal on Smith's gas prices. The produce section has a very small variety of organic fruits and veggies. The honey crisp apples I was looking at were all bruised and had puncture makes. They only had 6 apples for me to choose from. Hence, I was forced to pick another type of apple. I'm not impressed whatsoever with the fruit here besides the organic bananas. The vegan and gluten free areas are starting to grow and expand at this location. Thank goodness!! I often find deals on gardein and Boca products. Sadly, one of my favorite gluten free crackers have been placed on a close out sale and will not return :( I also like the fact that they carry different beverages. My favorite Yerba mate tea brand Guayaki is sold here! I just wish the aisles were cleaner and that the employees were a bit more friendly. Security always greets me as I enter. read more

The only thing that keeps me coming back is how cheap everything is here compared to other grocery stores. I also downloaded the Smith's app so I can download coupons to my card for extra savings. They've recently added an organic section to their food & veggie aisle. The price for organic kale was $2 the last time I went, which is the same price as non-organic. There isn't anything special here that you can't get anywhere else. I like Smith's Private Selection brand. If you haven't tried their blueberry cheesecake ice cream, you should definitely go out and get some! There's 2 redbox kiosks, a coinstar, and a little corner where they have slot machines. They also offer TicketMaster services. It's nice that I don't have to drive all the way out to the venues to get an actual ticket (printing my tickets online doesn't carry the same nostalgic feeling as a ticket stub does...it just doesn't feel right). read more

It's kind of weird where I rate this Smith's lower than another Smith's where I get called racial slurs, ha. I will start at 5 Stars and give appropriate adjustments as to how I ended up with 2 stars. Minus 1 Star since every damn time I head into this Smiths, the same kid keeps on asking me for change. I know you aren't homeless, you are too pro at it. Minus 1 Star for it never being clean, I mainly go to Smiths because it's supposed to (to me) be a grocery store with better customer service...or a better customer experience than a Walmart. This smiths doesn't do that. Minus 1 for just having a very odd atmosphere, I just cant' explain it...it completely doesn't feel right. I do like that they sell my rice cakes, the parking situation is good and it's a 1 minute drive from where I am half the time so it's convenient. I probably sound super cynical on this review, maybe because I'm starving. But I can't imagine giving this place 3 stars, but it's a 2.8 rounding down for me. By far smiths has the best bakery I've tasted since I've been in Las Vegas. I will say their prices are on the higher side. I cannot shop there and get a ton of food like I could at the neighborhood Wal-Mart. In a lot of areas they don't have big selections of certain products. I would suggest them telling their courtesy clerks to drop the attitudes, if you're don't like your job QUIT. If not put on a smile and turn off the attitude. read more

I don't go to this Smith's very often, but when I do it serves as an okay place to grocery shop. I guess I tend to hit up this Smith's when I happen to be getting Wingstop, which is located right outside the parking lot. The produce section is nice, pretty well setup. The artisan bread section is awesome. I love that it's enclosed behind the plastic windows and you can open it up and choose which bread you'd like. They're all baked fresh daily. The only real complaint is the clientele of this particular Smith's. The poor store is in the ghetto so the people shopping there are less than desirable. I guess it's not as bad as shopping at Wal-Mart though. read more

This store has changed with the new management. For the better. This manger cares if something or someone bothers you for any reason. The staff has been doing a much better job with customer service. I almost quit shopping here because of the rude service at the deli, and also you could never find help. Now, the team is asking me if I have found everything okay. The manager is sincere in resolving any issues, and the staff helping at the deli are outstanding. I always shop here. I have recently used the shop online service. The first delivery is free. In these heated temperatures, it's well worth paying someone to deliver my groceries. She did such a great job, texted me about any changes, and delivered on time. All around, with the management now, I do not shop any where else. One last thing, the butchers are wonderful. They do not moan and groan when you ask for things to be packaged according to your family. I just love them! Having a great store like Smiths on Nellis and Stewart, has made my life happier. This has to be the worst location in Vegas, hands down! Terrible service from cashiers, to the service desk. Terrible parking lot, everything is dirty, shelves arent stocked, its ALWAYS crowded with the worst people that Vegas can provide, and thats saying something. Ugh, I was in the store for all of 20 minutes and I feel filthy. God this store is gross. Oh and I wouldn't eat anything from the meat department if you paid me. read more

I honestly love this location. Store is very clean and orderly. The meat department has great quality meats and fish. I really enjoy the deli here as well. Another thing I'd like to point out is they carry a small variety of craft beer here which sometimes saves me an extra trip. read more

This is my neighborhood grocery store since I've lived on Charleston and nellis, about 7 years. Ordered my son's "Erik" cake for his birthday. Father-in-law picked cake up and brought it to party. On arrival I noticed my son's name spelled wrong. Smiths spelled it "Erick" even though the person who took the order asked, wrote down, and double checked the spelling of my son's name. I called and my neighborhood smiths told me that I could come back down there and they would fix it. That would be nice I said if I had a vehicle and I wasn't currently hosting a party. Asked if I could get some type of credit and was told no. I said I would just scrape the whole name off and would be in to file a formal complaint. This experience is very concerning since there is not many grocery stores in walking distance. I have a household of 6, so you can imagine the amount of money we've spent in this store alone in the last 7 years. read more

Lori C. was very rude to my husband and me. On a Saturday, we were waiting for the pharmacy to reopen at 2:00 pm. Lori was on the phone and the gate was closed. As it was past 2:00, I said to my husband "Isn't the pharmacy supposed to open at 2:00?" Lori, (recognizing my existence for the first time since my arrival) shouted "You don't need to be rude Ma'am!" I told her I was talking to my husband and wasn't speaking to her. She had a completely snarky attitude after that. I asked for her manager and she begrudingly told me his name. This is not the first time I have been to this Smiths pharmacy and seen Pharmacy Technicians be rude to customers. Very poor customer service and they don't care about how they present themselves. I've been a customer of the pharmacy for years because it takes my insurance and its the closest Smith's to my house. Somehow I seem to have multiple problems with them. My information gets changed in their computer system, they don't call with information they say they will call with and I am always told they are doing the best they can or they have no control over it. I am tired of being told different stories and am considering changing pharmacies for my family. read more

Prices are fair, and produce selection is varied and they even have a good selection of organic fruits and vegetables. However, the meat counter smells to high heaven. Some weekends it's just rotten. If fish smells fishy, it's old and beyond it's due date. I lived by the ocean. Also if you can smell the meat counter, something is rotten, or someone doesn't know how to flush the drain correctly. I worked in a butcher shop in college and would have been fired if my counter smelled like that. read more

This is one of my go to grocery stores since I literally live across the street from it. Aisles are always clean, not really any carts in the parking lot, and great prices. The staff is very friendly and the recognize me since I always come around the same late hour. The only problem I have is with the type of customers that come here! They get no star from me, Karyn is the rudest person and should not be working with customers. She lied and told me I had to get all my fathers prescription filled together and I believe that to be illegal for her to say that to me as well. He is 86, he fell and broke his knee in half, had surgery on New Years Day. Had to fill a few prescription and one happened to be for pain medications , why is it that just because there is an epidemic of addicts, we all get treated as if we are addicts as well. They didn't have the pain medication, but she would not fill the laxitive, which I found out could be bought over the counter anyway. Bottom line is the people that really need the medication for situations like my father get treated unjust. read more

This place is horrible. The pharmacy staff is rude, slow, and have actually sent my prescriptions to other pharmacies without my requesting them to do so. Terri S. actually told me today that I would have to drive across town for one they screwed up. When I persisted, she asked me to go outside to the walk up window to give her a chance to call and have it fixed. When I got around to the window, they had put up a "this window is closed" sign. Oddly enough, "Terri S." was nowhere to be seen either. This is not the first time I have had problems with rude staff at this location, either. Their normal weekday staff ignores customers until they are addressed verbally, and they have a tendency to serve multiple customers out of the same window simultaneously. I would strongly urge anyone considering visiting this location to go elsewhere. Even Walmart has better customer service. I can't believe I just said that, but it is true. read more
