Because papyrus is such a delicate material, it was important to us to find someone we could truly trust with the project. A few years ago, we had a piece framed here that we brought back from Zimbabwe, and the experience was so positive that we knew exactly where to return. Hector was incredibly helpful, honest, and knowledgeable throughout the process. Rather than trying to upsell us, he only recommended what he genuinely believed would be best for preserving and showcasing our painting. The finished piece exceeded our expectations, and we are extremely satisfied with the quality of the framing. We will definitely be back for future projects--not only because of the superb craftsmanship, but also because of Hector's honesty and integrity. Highly recommended!!!

It was reassuring to my family and me to hear him say he wanted to ensure the painting's integrity and beauty throughout the process. We came in one early evening with a 5'x8' painting. We got to see his impressive workshop and got a quote for stretching. Several days later, the painting was done, and they were able to mount it on our wall as well. The work is quick and we were awed by how the painting turned out. Despite his warnings abouts stretching such large, hand-painted piece, we couldn't have asked for better. We would definitely come back here again for any future services. Note: For larger paintings, such as the one we had stretched, it is preferred that your schedule be open to receive the painting once it is done.

My children and I have all been learning at Ran's Art Studio with Ms. Mou, and I can't recommend…read moreher highly enough. Before joining her studio, I had taken art classes with several teachers. Although they were patient and even helped fix parts of my paintings, I always felt dependent on them. Once I left class, I didn't know how to continue on my own, and my paintings never had the confidence or impact I wanted. Ms. Mou completely changed that. She demonstrates techniques but never paints for her students. Instead, she teaches you how to think like an artist, encouraging you to develop your own style. She guided me through paintings I never thought I could create, and now many of my finished pieces proudly hang on the walls of my home. After seeing my own progress, I transferred both of my children to Ran's Art Studio. The biggest surprise was my son. He is very talented but also very opinionated and difficult to teach. He had worked with several teachers and even private instructors, yet had reached a plateau and rarely accepted guidance. During his trial class with Ms. Mou, he looked at the painting assignment and immediately said, "There's no way I can paint that." Ms. Mou simply smiled and said, "Follow my process, and you can." A few hours later, he had finished a painting that amazed even himself. On the way home, he told me, "Mom, I want to keep learning from this teacher." That was the moment I knew we had found the right teacher. My daughter has also grown tremendously. Her artwork has become much more sophisticated, and she has gained confidence in expressing her own creativity. What I admire most is that Ms. Mou never asks students to copy her. Even in group classes, every student creates something unique. She encourages independent thinking, creativity, and personal expression while building strong artistic skills. Ms. Mou isn't just teaching people how to paint--she helps her students discover abilities they didn't know they had. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has taught our family.
