The person who answered the phone was professional, caring and extremely helpful. The technician they sent out was named Kevin. Kevin was helpful, professional, knowledgeable and caring. He took the time to show me pictures he had taken to explain every step of my service. I was truly impressed and extremely grateful. I was so happy with his service that I joined the annual service maintenance program they offer to customers. Let me tell you when you find a reputable experience company with team members like Kevin; I believe in supporting them. This is the company I will use for air and heating maintenance from this day forward. The annual preventative maintenance plan comes out to around $14.50 per month or $179 yearly if paid in full ( this is reasonable and extremely useful for a homeowner such as myself)... Issues Experienced: Scheduling Problems: Unfortunately, the customer service team struggles to follow simple guidance. Despite my request not to have appointments scheduled before a certain time, I have had multiple occurrences where they show up early. Lack of Communication: On several occasions, appointments were scheduled without prior communication with me, leading to confusion and inconvenience. Conclusion: Given that there have been scheduling issues on all but two of my service calls, I feel it's necessary to seek out another company. Do not use Tim Ferguson for any Generac/Generator servicing. Used them for a general service and…read moretake care of a simple error code. The tech changed the oil and serviced the generator but did it before fixing the error and then proceeded to not be able to clear the error. Therefore the oil couldn't cycle through to prevent further damage because the engine wouldn't crank. Supposedly the service manager couldn't troubleshoot either or they just wanted to charge me $200/hr for diagnostics and the error which they thought was the control board. I do not know if they didn't know how to fix or if they just wanted to charge me more money. Simple google search said change the battery and I did that myself and generator cranked and no issues. Was trying to find a reputable company so I don't have to maintain it myself but Tim Ferguson is not that company. Very disappointing given their supposedly good reputation.
