While there was some confusion from my original pharmacy I called on the 11th to fix it. It's now been over a full week asking for them to send it to the correct pharmacy. I have called every day this week and finally went up there today the 20th and the front office person was such a jerk saying it was all my pharmacy's fault. This place is awful. Three weeks after my original appointment and I have spent hours on this issue and my patience is null at this point. Absolutely do not go here if you value your time. I waited in the waiting room for a scheduled annual check up for just under and hour and then waited an additional 20 minutes in the exam room to see Kathryn. While she is a nice woman, getting a hold of her is absolutely impossible. You cannot directly contact your physician and while the women at the call center are very nice there is only so much they can do for you. I needed prior authorizations on two different medications and not only had I been trying to reach out for a week, my pharmacy was as well. They sent multiple faxes that were not returned in any sort of timely manner until I finally got a hold of someone at the front desk, again, not Kathryn herself. I was then told about an online Portal when I asked about receiving any of my lab results, which had never been brought up at any of the appointments I've had in the past and the front desk woman said she'd email me my portal information (still have not received that email). The only person that I felt had any empathy for their patients was the phlebotomist. She was kind, and quick.

Dr. King was willing to let me participate in my care. If I wanted to try an alternative treatment or avoid a certain medication, she would always offer other options. She was also very personable and easy to talk to. Dr. King would also share other anecdotes from her own life so you felt she was really involved in what you were saying.

She stated -and it has been true - that any tests that are done I will receive information -- non of this no news is good news kind of stuff. I signed up with nextmed to view and communicate online -- the DAY AFTER - my blood test there was an e-mail with the results from the lab and ALSO a letter from dr. King with a review of each of the part of the test and where I stood and where i should be -- and recommendations (-- for me none expect to return in a year) Her staff was very nice as well ... Her enthusiasm has made me want to go back as needed ....

After waiting 45 minutes I couldn't wait any longer so I informed the front in staff that I had another appointment and had to leave. The next day they tried to call me to say I missed my appointment and would be charged a late fee.

He's busy as heck but makes you feel like you're his only patient for that time you're in the room. He will prescribe you meds to keep you healthy but with the plan being to get you well enough to get off them. I highly recommend him. His staff (assistants) are great too. I've had luck communicating with them through the app/portal. The office people are friendly enough.
