Here, they provide an option of having a photo taken of eyes instead of dilation (at an extra cost). This was a welcomed alternative and saved us all a lot of time and tears, too. As someone who has never worn glasses, Dr. Best explained to me what she was doing and why, and answered any questions I had without a lot of medical jargon that would make me scratch my head in confusion. After the eye photos, she even had my son come over to look at the pics and ask her questions. He thought that was super cool. He (shockingly) told me as we left, "That was pretty fun, Mommy!" Whatttt?! We were seen very quickly and the appointment only lasted about 30 minutes, including picking out and purchasing new frames. Speaking of, there was a pretty big selection of youth frames, which was refreshing. They were all fairly affordable (most under $150) and ended up being fully covered by our insurance. Dr. Best and the staff are friendly, helpful and really listened to what we said. I have dry eyes and my husband has had two cornea transplants and a cataract. Dr. Best was familiar with his prior conditions of kerataconus and Fuch's dystrophy thus the transplants. She did some extensive testing that we'd never had done before and diagnosed the issue causing such eye fatigue and neck pain I'd been having. The office was clean, well organized, quiet and there was NO overcrowding in the waiting area. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for eyecare in the area.

They are IN NETWORK on my insurance. They charged me $45 that day, and today I received a bill for $150 more to be paid. The total charge for a standard eye exam for contact lenses was $483.00!!!!!! FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY THREE!!! I have a $10 co-pay on an eye exam. And they have billed me $195. Thank goodness my insurance covered some of the charges. I can't imagine if I didn't have coverage! I must return to pick up my contacts and hopefully the new ones are correct. I can't imagine what I will be charged if I need an adjusted prescription! Once I am all set with contacts I will NEVER use this group again. My husband has also been a patient of this group in the past but will find a new provider for his exam this year. Dr. Cunningham did cataract surgery on my left eye. That didn't work for me so I had to have Lasix…read moresurgery. Dr. Cunningham and 2 ladies came in the surgery room, Dr. Cunningham let on of the women do the Lasix surgery ended up getting a very bad infection in it so I had to go to the Dr every 3 days to see if it was getting well. I'm still having issues from the eye surgery it caused several issues that I deal with daily because of Dr. Cunningham negligence.

not happy at all with what has transpired here with my surgery. went in for a lens replacement and…read moreended up with a bad outcome. the wait times are never less than 3 hours each time. I went in with 20/20 vision and came out with 20/400 and a paralyzed iris. communications are terrible and nothing is explained in any detail at all. I had a 8OD lens in previous and came out with a 18 OD. no visual correction at all. the nerve block which was never discussed left my pupil paralyzed with no fix for that. nothing was double checked with me before or during the surgery at all. There is no dialogue from anyone at any time through the process and unless you know the questions to ask, nothing is explained to satisfaction. the correct lens would at least made this less scary and disappointing. not acceptable.
