Dr. Stephen Stache is arrogant, aggressive and argumentative man. My mom asked him 3 times to look at her hip and he dismissed her saying "Don't bother I have the X-Ray right here it is Gluteal Tendinitis." He gave her a pill for pain and recommended physical therapy 3 times a week for 4 weeks and should go away in a year. It was SARCOMA CANCER GROWING ON HER HIP!! If he just looked at her leg and sent us to the right doctors maybe she would still be here. My beautiful mother passed January 8, 2026 at 9:56pm. She was so beautiful, successful, smart and had many talents I'm so heartbroken. Please stay away from this doctor he doesn't know what he's doing please get a second opinion. My mother would complain about hip pain and I would just say Dr. Stache said it's Gluteal Tendinitis and should go away in a year. It was SARCOMA CANCER GROWING AND IT SPREAD TO HER LUNG! PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR! I lost my best best friend because of a misdiagnosis!

I never thought that I would be treated horrible due to my appearance. I'm an African American Muslim woman. As soon as I was brought to the floor there was a white nurse who looked at me with a very disgusted look, at the time I noticed the look but, I was to worried about getting treatment for a very serious condition to give much thought to it. However, on 5/2/26 I had this same nurse her was Lorena from 2 south . She came in the room , stated her name and left out. Then she came back in ( the whole time with a very disgusted look on her face as if I was an annoyance to her). She came to give me meds and I asked a questioned about the meds , she instantly got a attitude, and walked out of the room while I was on a heart monitor and never came back in the room. I called for a different nurse and she blocked my request. She left me that way all night with no care. Thank God there was a tech by the name of Mia! She stepped in and help me. I was traumatized by this incident and was ready to leave . None of the Dr.'s addressed the issue of racism that could have caused a death. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE AFTER BEING IGNORED BY A UNPROFESSIONAL CAUCASIAN NURSE WHO WAS SO DISRESPECTFUL TO THE FIELD OF NURSING BY HER ACTIONS! SHE LEFT THE ROOM NEVER RETURNED TO MY ROOM EVEN AFTER THE MACHINES ALARMS WERE GOING OFF NEEDING TO BE ATTENDED TO! LAKENAU SHOULD NOT HAVE THIS WOMAN AROUND SICK PATIENTS WHEN SHE'S RACIST! SHE CAN CAUSE A PATIENT TO BECOME TERMINALLY ILL ! LAKENAU NEEDS TO HAVE HER INVESTIGATED! I'M WRITING THIS BECAUSE THERE ARE VERY SICK AND DYING PATIENTS ON THAT FLOOR, AND THEY ARE PEOPLES GRANDPARENTS, MOTHERS, FATHERS, SIBLINGS , AUNTS AND UNCLES! On the bright side I want to thank the KIND SOUL MIA for coming in and helping me! She was a TECH who acted better and showed a skill set of human kindness!

When I asked why they can't just tell me on the phone (which is something even my cancer doctor does) she said "talk to your insurance" and scurried out of the room. During that entire time, they never performed an X-ray or proper imaging. I was repeatedly told that I had plantar fasciitis ( and I thought I did ) and was treated for that diagnosis. After continuing to have severe pain, I sought another opinion. An X-ray was finally done, and it showed that I actually have a bone spur. Because the correct diagnosis was missed for so long, the condition has worsened and I now need surgery. Instead of identifying the root cause of the problem, my pain was simply masked with temporary treatments. If proper imaging had been done earlier, this could have been diagnosed and treated appropriately. as soon as the podiatrist touched my ankle and foot he said he could feel the problem lets take a xray to confirm he touched my foot and knew .... I would strongly encourage others to seek a provider who performs thorough evaluations and proper diagnostic testing before making a long-term diagnosis. i went monthly to this doctor office and never did they do any imagining. New doc did an image 5 minutes walking in front door and showed me the issues immediately and said this could have been avoided or at least not as painful and or bad... DO NOT GO HERE . Dr Monaco do better, get xrays and get patients help, don't mask issues. How could you not feel the issues the podiatrists immediately knew ...

Because the break is severe enough to needing surgery, my mom wanted to see an orthopedic specialist asap. The provider referred her to Rothman Orthopedics located at Lankenau Medical Center, which is 1 HOUR AWAY on 3:30pm. HOWEVER, my mom did not leave urgent care until 3PM but supposedly they told my mom that as long as theres an appointment made, it will be okay. We rushed through heavy traffic. I assumed that my mother was aware of the office hours. We made it to Rothman around 4:15pm. The problem is that there were no doctors available because they closed at 4:30PM. Not even on-call. I asked the receptionist if there is anything that they can do. She could have been EMPATHETIC and COMPASSIONATE to our situation. She was so non genuine and I could tell that once its close to closing time, she is mentally done, which is not acceptable. Mind you, my mother is in so much pain holding on to her wrist. The receptionist could have at least said "go to the ED" and/or be EMPATHETIC to our situation rather than looking at us with a blank stare. Even though my mother never saw the doctor in the office, the experience with the receptionist was not acceptable. I would NOT recommend this place if you want to be treated with respect and with care.

Nothing but great things to say about the team here and the work they do. Friendly front office,…read moreeasy checkin process, and plenty of parking. Lots of great people, all working to help you get back you. No judging -- just helpful, incremental progress to help instill a self-help mindset to accomplish your goals. The team here really goes above and beyond and always has each other's backs. I've been to other PT spots but this feels like a combined team effort, and with much brighter and sports-oriented facility. That said, it's a complete mix of demographics and ages of patients. So regardless of whether you're an 18 year old trying to get back in the game, or an 80 year old that just needs to regain their balance, this is a great place for you.

I would highly recommend BMSR to anyone who is in need of PT. In general, the facility is large, clean, cheerfully decorated and filled with state-of-the-art equipment. Their music selection is upbeat and inspires you to get moving. I had no issues with billing, scheduling etc. Staff at the desk were extremely helpful and nice. Five stars out of five!
