Dr. Edward Pham knew exactly how to get Leo to be at ease and make a dental visit fun and exciting. Going to the dentist can be scary for the first time, but Leo really loved it. Dr. Hai Pham is an incredible doctor as well. He cares so deeply about his friends, family, patients, and employees. This family goes above and beyond and we're lucky to have little Leo going to their clinic. Front desk staff was kind and timely. The lobby is sweet and engaging and had The Good Dinosaur playing (which is such a sweet movie). Their display of how much sugar goes into common snacks and drinks was good to see and shocking to see how much sugar many of us give to our kids without knowing it. They're good at planning out the next appointments too. Everyone's busy and booked up in the health world, so it's nice they stay on top of reoccurring appointments. The first couple of visits my toddler sat on my lap and we did knee to knee with the dentist so he could look in my son's mouth but I was holding him for support. I felt bad he screamed, but the dentist assured me it was okay and that meant he had a better view of his teeth. This most recent visit, my son did great and was able to sit in the chair alone and go through the entire appointment without fussing. The hygienist did an great job keeping him involved and showing all the tools. Plus the tv on the ceiling is a great distraction! Recommend this location! At every other dentist I have been to for myself and children, an out-of-pocket estimate is handed to us up front. This office does not do that. I ignored it for a few weeks because it looks like a scam. You don't receive a paper or even an emailed statement.

I called the Beaverton location and was told I could get moved which to my understanding meant I could just stay at the Hillsboro location. I guess what the girl really meant was that she can move my time. However, the ladies at the Hillsboro office were very empathetic and super nice and made me feel a tad better. The office itself is super clean and amazing for kids and I honestly wished that this location was my primary one after my initial face to face interaction with the staff and seeing their set up. Personally, I would recommend the Hillsboro location over the Beaverton location any day. I plan on switching myself because my experience with the Beaverton office was just not that great. The staff there is not friendly or welcoming at all IMO and the entire office vibe is weird.

I have visited several dentists before him, and they always tried to point out unnecessary issues they could "fix." All the office assistants are very helpful as well. The system sends reminders before every appointment, and the office assistants will call you to remind you too. I haven't seen this level of service in any other dental office. I highly recommend this place for both a great dentist and excellent office assistance.

Maybe you see the dentist for a filling or a more complex appointment - a root canal or a crown. Even those tend to be things you schedule at least. Today I had the "opportunity" to assess how North Hills treats their patients in a less common situation - I tripped and broke off part of my front tooth, leaving it ragged and sharp and leaving me freaked out and stressed. I came as a walk-in to a fully booked day, and still received the kindest care I could have hoped for. No promises it would/could be taken care of immediately, but that they could assess it and make a plan. In fact, Dr Rowly was able to do a temporary fix for me, and staff was able to get me in next week for the permanent repair. With luck, this is a once in a lifetime event for me - but the absolute professionalism, care and concern I was afforded was everything I could have hoped for and more. I landed with North Hills because my previous dentist retired. Wow did I luck out. If you are looking for a new dental home, North Hills has a lot to offer. That tool can be painful in the wrong hands but she did a first rate job and I could tell she really cared that the cleaning was done correctly.
