Felt pressured, scolded, and bullied. I think the lady's name was DeeAnne, she was very rude. I would not recommend.

Lack of concern for children's teeth. Always blaming the parents & the children for the kid's…read moredental problems. Poor quality of work. Rude behavior and disrespectful attitude towards the ones that keep them in business. Would not fully fix my children's teeth. I'm fed up with dentist like this one!!

This is an absolute rant and before everyone says "I've never had a bad experience with her" please…read morekeep it to yourself. So my husband was the person that came forward about Dr. Kate being a complete unprofessional human being at southern pediatric dentistry about a month ago, and how she mom shamed me. Well, I continued to go through with a treatment plan because face it, it's about my son's mouth and being civil. So, the office has my email, address, and phone number. My son had an appointment today to fill 2 cavities and I couldn't remember if it was 9am or 9:25 so I called, the receptionist said your sons account is closed. I'm like what? I haven't missed appointments. The receptionist said Dr.Kate closed your account due to your Facebook rant. Excuse me WHAT?! So my husband had to call out of work, yall had my info this entire time to not let me know my account was closed?! So if I didn't call over the time, me and my son would have went up there for them to be snooty and say your not being seen?! So, Dr. Kate got her feelings hurt over my rant and totally disregarded my son's medical needs . The receptionist told me well you know it's just really bad for business, and I'm like this is going to be really bad for your business. If a parent is willing to be civil for the child like I was, then the professional dentist should be able to be civil for the child! And before anyone says why didn't you just find another dentist after your feelings got hurt. Well, trying to find a dentist that is accepting new patients, one that takes Medicaid, and in a timely manner is close to impossible in Anderson. So yes that's why I just wiped my feelings off and chose to be civil for my child, why couldn't Dr. Kate? She's in a customer service based career, not everyone is going to love her but to take it out on a 6 year old is beyond me.

The dental office is beautiful but there is a fine line between being treated as a consumer instead…read moreof a patient. They offer private rooms at an additional $100 (optional) but only in the mornings and if you agree to a private room once- the office categorizes you as a patient who can graduate from that room but only based on the discretion of the people who are getting paid by such private room⁉They will refuse to schedule an appt with a regular room moving forward. You are stuck paying for the private room and front desk can't do anything about it. This feels unethical and not in the best interest of your patients. Every other dental office will offer you a private room due to hipaa and osha ( this is a clear violation) and not charge additional. The only difference is there is a door here and not a partition. At this office they make it so the chairs sit SO close together like in a dental college ( a dental bay is a clear osha violation) - that naturally the parent will request that private room bc all it takes is one crying child to scare the others. Either way, you do have to agree to it so it's not a secret either but again feels off and completely on purpose! This area is like the, "nicest," in the neighborhood I guess and the other offices around are pretty old, making it so that these type of businesses provide care in a different way, more like you're a number and not a person. The slide and toys are nice but not what most important here. It's too bad bc Dr.Diaz was very kind and the hygienists were lovely as well. Ultimately, I thought maybe I was not the target audience until the office manager called me back to smooth things over and never acknowledged the issue. She went out of her way to tell me why the have private rooms while still not addressing that the issue is they lock you into a room you have to pay $100 additional for and therefore cant even book a regular appt without their permission, the dr didn't bother to call me and Elaina even admitted there were no notes from Dr saying my son had to stay in private room. She kept saying you could graduate (wth?) I'm paying for this!! Delusional. This state is ranked the worst in health care, there is a reason.

The dental stations are equipped with TVs and headphones for each person, and there is no messing around... once you are in you are attended to! I mean it is like a giant kids play place in here. Well decorated, happy and fun! What kid wouldn't want to go here. Heck I want to come here! Super nice place, great people, and a good location. They have changed dentist visits for my kids forever!

She had cavities at a very young age and had to be placed under anesthesia to fill and he made sure he explained the process and we had it at the hospital because he was concerned with the size of her tonsils. Long story short his concern led to her pediatrician (who had to clear her for surgery) sending her to an ear nose and throat specialist. We had her tonsils and adenoids removed and we would have never known the issue existed if it hadn't been for Dr Hicks. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The new office is absolutely gorgeous -

It's by far the most beautiful dentist office I've seen, with a lobby that looks like a Vegas hotel lobby. There's a movie room to keep your children occupied while waiting, or adults waiting for their kids. He does such a great job, when my daughter had 8 cavities (yes, 8, oops), he took care of it swiftly and she had no issues. In the new office, they have a gold coin to give to them where they can pick from several candy ball-like machines as a prize. My daughter literally asked when the next time she can get a cleaning because she wanted another gold coin. Brilliant! Highly recommend!
