I was visiting my family and I get horrible migraines and I was in need of migraine relief. I have been dealing with migraines for 25 years and if anyone is familiar with migraines is that there is many triggers and prevention is the key. I can tell when it's time for a different approach rather then prescription medication. The adjustment for migraines is called CSMT and is very helpful for preventative measures as well as the beginning of migraine pain. Grateful to have found them. Arthritis in my neck started getting horrible. They were the first to offer me decompression. Suffered for years. An adjustment without decompression would last maybe a day at best. An adjustment with decompression so far has made all the difference in the world. I'm doing decompression at home now. They got me started Improved my quality of life at least 90%. I'd say 100% but they can't cure arthritis. But they're the first chiropractor to make it manageable. All the years that I've been using chiropractics no one has ever offered me decompression. What that tells me is they're doing everything to keep me out of their office. I put the star rating in the middle because I had two criteria. First, Brett Smith is GREAT (he deserves 5 stars). He adjusted my hips to reduce my back pain. I only wish I could say the same about the front desk staff. As a new patient, I wasn't aware of their automated system. My first visit was unimpressive being that I was ignored when I walked in and waited for one of the ladies to look up and notice I was standing right in front of them. I was not shown the future check-in procedure so stood in front of them again on my 2nd visit. I still wasn't told what to do...she just asked for my birth date and did it for me. I had to guess what she was doing. She gave me a plastic clipboard when she said "number 2". Again, had no idea what she was talking about. My 3rd visit I checked in ok and sat for 30 minutes, again being ignored. Had to leave as my blood pressure can't take the stress. I am old (72) and remember what "Customer Service" used to be like. The practice was raved and recommended so I decided to give it a try to alleviate my lower back pains. This isn't my first time visiting a chiropractor so it wasn't new but every office does things differently. Overall, my back was assessed and adjusted so it was feeling a lot better. But for follow ups, I'm just going to go to another local practice. The front desk is normally the face of the office and the impression was terrible. The waiting area was extremely packed and upon entering I didn't really know where to go until the receptionist (idk her name but short brown hair with glasses) basically barked at me to sign in on the tablet. I told her that I was a new patient and she basically threw the clipboard at me to fill out. Ok...damn, sorry I am such an inconvenience. While filling out, I saw and heard her bark orders at a few elderly patients who had come in. One in particularly didn't know how to use the tablet to put her birthdate in and the receptionist got so frustrated. Then she proceeds to yell at the patient to "sit down over there!" after the patient clearly said she'd prefer standing bc of her back. I mean, I get that this work can get repetitive and is busy but it's part of health care customer service to have patience and compassion. The whole rude attitude just turned me off. If the office is getting busier and it's treated like a proper business, I'd assess the front attitude first. I don't want to be going through an assembly line rushed in and rushed out. On top of that, there was some confusing information about the military discount and having cash on hand and there's no discount on your first visit even with cash which is what I was told over the phone. Just super not comfortable going back to deal with the front. Who knows what I'd get yelled for! read more

Went to Smith Chiropractic this week for the first time, just recently moved to the area, after falling off a ladder on my shoulder and 2 weeks of limited use and lots of pain. The staff were friendly, accommodating and Ryan knows his stuff. The office is clean and appears to be a well oiled machine. No appointment necessary and the wait is only minutes but I think they do take appointments. Ryan is very friendly and sets you at ease as he is working on you. I walked out after the first visit with full use and strength of my arm again. This place is wonderful! I love the fact that I can just walk in and be seen, adjusted, and on my way out within 15ish minutes! I been going here for over a month now and have never made an appointment.. I simply show up, sign in, and get an adjustment! I have been adjusted by both sons, and I feel a huge difference afterwards. Over time, I have been feeling better and have less pain in the area of my back between my shoulder blades. Furthermore, my neck is less achy and no longer stiff! Between them and I, we all can agree I will benefit from a better bed too. I work at Mattress Firm and ordered myself a tempurpedic. I went in for a quick fix and was completely surprised. Expecting a very sophisticated and professional environment. This definitely not what I found at Smith Chiropractic. One of the younger male "Doctors" was cursing during office hour & while patients were waiting and being seen. Not a good environment at ALL! Also, I felt ehhh for the first day after my visit but not even the ehhh feeling lasted. If you want true care that will help in the long run, go see a Physical Therapist! They will help you with exercises that will actually fix your problem. It won't just be a cover up like Chiropractors. These people are just money hungry. They fix you and almost every time ask you to schedule your next appt. If you're "Fixing" peoples physical issues, why do people have to continue seeing you for years? Only reason for the 1star is for the older gentleman, who I assume is the owner as he understands how to work in a professional environment. read more

I made an appointment at my previous session and arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled time. The waiting room was COMPLETELY full - some patients were having to stand because no seats were available. When my appointment time arrived, and I was still sitting in the waiting room, I asked the receptionist when I would be seen. She told me that there were 6 people ahead of me, because walk-ins were given priority over scheduled appointments. I don't understand the point of making appointments if the doctor doesn't intend on keeping it. Asking someone to wait 2 hours past their SCHEDULED appointment time is beyond rude.
