It turned out that this hot tub was only available in Canada. He kept promising it was ordered and kept trying to collect more money without doing any work. When my husband asked for proof of purchase, he went to a local vendor and signed a contract to try to prove that it was ordered. This was two months after it was supposed to be ordered. The day he signed the contract, he asked for more money. He claimed he could get this hot tub for half the price the store was selling it for. We called the store and found out he was lying. Once he realized he couldn't get anything else out of us, he left and blocked our phone number. He even moved out of town. We found out later that he does this to others as well.

If I did not let them go ahead I'd go to the back of the line again. He'd warned me that would be the case. So I crossed my fingers and let them pave too long driveways and large parking pad next to an expensive pool deck. An assistant at my office paid them. On my returned I was shocked. Everything was perfect. No mess and not a blade of grass out of place. I would not have expected this level of care if I'd stayed home to be the straw-boss. Truly exceptional work.
