Unluckily for me, I have done two implants over here on my bottom left teeth, but both of them are not usable. 1) The one in the end bottom left is not touching with the teeth on the top. The gap is about 2 to 3 mm when I bite down. (I will send some pictures later). I don't know how to fix it. 2) The one in the second end bottom left, I have to remove the implant post because the bone craft is gone and not enough to hold the post. I did this implant post about 5 year ago. Today, I have an appointment to remove the post and I think I will need to do the implant again from the beginning (fill bone craft, then do implant). I will update this review soon.

The bad news she broke my $375 gold lingual wire that is keeping my bottom teeth in place and Now I need to go to my orthodontist to get it fixed. Truly, not what I have time to do during the holidays but mistakes happen. Because I wasn't expecting this as a possibility Dr Huynh has contacted my orthodontist personally and made sure I don't have this unexpected expense. I'm waiting until after my next cleaning just in case she breaks the other side as Now I know this can happen!! As a business owner and a mom of 3 I'm more in tears because I really don't have the extra time this month to go to my orthodontist. Dr Huynh was very apologetic about this but it took a little while for him to get back to me as it was a busy office day. For my first experience it was a little off but he went well and above my expectations when encountering a mistake like this. I was recommended to use a mouth rinse, chlorhexidine. Never have I been to a place that needed to give me a prescription for it. I've always been to a place that has it in stock and Now I need to deal with a pharmacy but after explaining why they don't carry it it they actually saved me $$. Perhaps this just seemed overwhelming in the moment. I went to Kaiser and got my RX down the street for 10 bucks. Ultimately this is just off to a bad start but I can see it turning around for sure. My best advice to my hygienist - slow down near lingual wire permanent retainers but keep your heavy hands because I did feel like you did a good cleaning. I will be in pain later tho. As to be expected. Or at least give your patients a heads up that this can happen. Update**** Dr Huynh called me and we came up with a solution. You can tell he really cares about his patients and his staff. I will definitely not name anyone in this review who worked on me because making a mistake like this is just that. A mistake. It can be fixed and it's not the end of the world. She did a very thorough job at my cleaning which is ultimately what I want. Thanks for calling me to chat! I appreciate it!

I've been to many dentists in my 38 years and pride myself in having healthy teeth. But having…read morehealthy teeth does not always mean having healthy gums. So I went in to see Dr. Huynh for an assessment of my gums. His hygienists are probably the nicest and most thorough hygienists I've ever experienced. They take the time to explain any and all issues that I had with my gums, and ways to work on the issues. Not only that, they are always the best cleanings I've had in my life. My teeth and gums always feel AMAZING afterwards! After my cleaning, Dr. Huynh came in to talk to me about my gums and any issues that I had. He was very patient, kind and explained everything to me in a non-condescending manner. He worked on my teeth and gums in a very gentle manner with no pain. He is an expert on gums and you can totally tell by just talking with him. For such a busy office, I was extremely happy that the staff, from the receptionist, billing person, hygienist and doctor, were so pleasant and professional. This was further evident from the other patients in the waiting room who likewise had only good things to say about Dr. Huynh and his staff. Dr. Huynh seemed to know everyone by their first names and was not pretentious like other doctors can be. I don't usually write reviews but I just wanted to make sure everyone knows how great Dr. Huynh is and I have and will continue to recommend his office (they have one in Milpitas now too!) to anyone that's needs periodontic work!

Brian was the one that did my first half of my deep cleaning and he was reassuring me the whole way, asking me if I was okay and explained the process and what he was doing if he switched over to something different. It was a calm experience that I actually fell asleep a couple of times!

The front desk personnel immediately indicated that given the time to complete paperwork I would not be able to complete my consultation. Apparently there's no buffer between appts. Fine. The paperwork consisted of 2 pieces of paper F/B and took me a whole 3min. By that time it was 2:30. She then pretty much told me I won't be seen for the full consul and only "like 15min" and that I'd need 45min for the entire consul. She had no desire to make it work for me and asked for me to reschedule, I had a while 30min for the consul left. Given how rude and aggressive the front receptionist was overall, this was not where I wanted to come for serious dental work. I'm sure this office receives plenty of referrals what's one less patient! On a more important note: I was in the office for at least 10min. No COVID protocol as far as I'm aware. No patient evaluation for COVID symptoms and no temperature check. My husband's dental office assess patients before entering. Overall worked out for me. Revolving door during COVID with no downtime between patients? Yikes! My review does not speak to their ability to perform the work, but the overall patient experience. It's dental work, who wants to encounter an overbearing person at the front desk when coming for dental work?! Yikes.

They have a kids play area, very comfortable seats, a tv, magazines to read, and more! So a quick overview: The staff here are super friendly and they definitely get the job well done with your teeth to look it's best! They are light with their hands when it comes to working on your teeth and I know that matters because you won't be comfortable if someone's hands are heavy right? They work really well with kids! My little brother had his first dentist appointment here and he had fun despite being nervous his first time. Overall, this is the perfect place for you and your family for any of your dental needs. They make you feel like family here & not many can say that about their dental clinics. Once you walk in, it's like you've entered a completely different place. The ambience is so relaxing and the place just feels very elegant with the colors on the wall, the decor and furniture pieces. I feel like I'm going to get royal treatment here in a sense...haha. Once you let them know you're there for your appointment, they'll get you in and working on your teeth in a very timely manner, sometimes even right away if they're not busy. As I said, all employees are friendly and easy to talk to! They'll spark up conversations with you here and there. They also have tv's inside the place where you actually sit to have your teeth worked on; so if you're waiting or something, you can enjoy watching the tv. They also ask if you're okay time to time while working on your teeth and remind you that you can tell them when something starts to hurt or if something is not comfortable. Which I value because that means they're really paying attention to the comfort of their customers. After you're done, they let you know what you need to do, whether it be making a next appointment or a follow up, etc. and that can all be done at the front desk and they'll write your next scheduled appointment on a card so you won't forget. And they also call in advance to remind you so that you really won't forget. Haha. With all said and done, I highly recommend this place and I believe once you come here, you won't be going anywhere else. I surely will have my future family come here for their dental needs. That's just how amazing this place is. I really believe in this dental clinic, and I know you will too once you give this place a try.

Each visit, I was paired with someone different. While everyone was professional, the small talk often felt routine and repetitive, especially since I only come in twice a year for cleanings. Her attention to detail and genuine care are the main reasons I continue coming back, even though the office is out of network with my insurance. That alone says a lot.
