The chef is wonderful and so are the hours, but after all of our favorite caregivers left, we started looking for other options. The turnover was so high, it felt like staff came and went every few weeks. The old guard associated with Tiny Minders all departed over time; new folks coming in also left after short stints. Rooms were not staffed with enough teachers. New staff didn't know my kiddo or introduce themselves to me. I felt I was leaving her with strangers. I'm relieved we left when we did--I've since heard concerning stories. For reference our daughter is 3. I hope they can turn this ship around because I know we all desperately need safe, quality childcare.

The school recruited an amazing preschool teacher who brings solid, professional teaching and a great energy to the room. The addition of the onsite chef has been fantastic both because we no longer have to pack lunches, and the meals are full of quality and variety. Overall, a solid choice for a Boulder daycare that caters to the typical working parent.

Sunrise has a wonderful happy, family vibe that is promoted by Melissa (she is so exceptionally gifted with children!!) and all of the staff. Our daughters came home happy every day excited about what they had learned at school (even my husband and I learned new things about animals, planets, multicultural holidays, etc!!). But most importantly they felt valued, included and generally excited about learning and made many friends. They grew a lot over the year and gained confidence in many areas. Thank you to everyone at Sunrise!

The owner and director know all of the kids by name and are so approachable! The teachers are warm and caring and the kids do all sorts of special activities. It's been a great experience working with them.

The program for both young and kindergarten kids is fun and challenging. My kids are extremely happy about going to school and always have so much to talk about when I pick them up. The teachers are all certified and they are all professional. It is easy to communicate with them as well. The owner and director are superb and treat every kid as their own. The other thing I love is that the older kids have "friday friends" with the younger children. My daughter knows pretty much every kid in the school through this activity, and she loves being a role model to the younger kids. What a fantastic life lesson for her! I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a daycare you can really trust and feel at home with, you can not find a better place in the area.

The center is always clean, organized, and beautifully updated. Even though they're still new, they've created such a welcoming environment for both kids and parents. I also love the family events they put together. It's clear they put a lot of thought into making families feel involved and appreciated. My daughter is always happy when I pick her up, and seeing how excited she is each day gives me so much confidence. I'm so grateful we found this center and highly recommend it to other parents!

I cannot in good faith recommend this school to any child or family. My child went to this school…read morefor about 1.5 years, starting at about 2.5. I have PTSD from the judgement my child received, lack of support, poor communication, and overall unprofessionalism of leadership. The teachers were very kind, but unfortunately, not fully equipped to support a variety of children's needs. My child has thrived since leaving this school and had zero issues with classmates and teachers. I believe if you're child is quite docile and loves to work alone that this could be a fine enough option for you, but if that's not the case, I'd encourage you to look elsewhere. And my best advice is just to talk to a handful of parents at the school. It can seem really nice on the surface, but the best way to know what it's really like is to talk to the community of parents that currently have children enrolled. Many felt the same way, but as you know, it's hard to find good childcare so it was the lesser of the evils for a lot of families. I fully expect the school to try to retaliate this review (as defense was often the communication I was met with for any concerns), but I hope that some of the professionalism has come back to the school and they will just receive the feedback and learn from it.
