AVOID DR FANG (that is really his name, and he actually does have vampire energy) I visited this office for an emergency when a piece of my tooth fell out, and it was one of the worst medical experiences I've ever had. The injection process was unnecessarily brutal. He rapidly administered three shots of Novocain to the roof of my mouth, each one causing excruciating pain that had me moaning. When I expressed my pain, he made a condescending comment calling me a "soprano," showing complete lack of empathy for a patient in distress. The anesthetic wasn't sufficient, and I could still feel sensation when he began drilling. A fourth injection was administered to the roof of my mouth, which immediately sent shooting nerve pain up through my nostrils - a sensation I've never experienced and hope never to again. When I immediately told him to stop and explained that I was experiencing a flooding sensation up my nose with nerve pain, he completely dismissed my concerns and denied that his injection technique could cause this. This dismissive attitude toward a patient reporting unusual and concerning symptoms is unacceptable. When I asked what filling material he was using, he gave the vague answer of "tooth color" rather than specifying the actual material (composite, amalgam, etc.). Most disturbing of all, he drilled my tooth down so aggressively that I was left with essentially just a nub. This seems excessive for what was supposed to be a filling, and I'm now concerned about the long-term viability of what's left of my tooth. This was supposed to be emergency care to help me, but instead I left feeling traumatized and worried about the quality of work performed. The combination of poor communication, unprofessional behavior, dismissive treatment of patient concerns, and questionable dental work makes this a practice I cannot recommend to anyone. If you're looking for emergency dental care, please keep looking. The temporary inconvenience of finding another provider is worth avoiding this traumatic experience. read more

Place is an absolute SCAM!!!! My PREGNANT Wife went here since we moved into the area. The dentist told her she had 9 cavities..... he decided to drill into her perfectly fine teeth that day and fill 3 of them. When she came home and told me. I told her to go see my childhood dentist... who is an ACTUAL dentist not some scam artist. They told her that she didn't have 1 cavity after doing Xrays and checking her teeth.... and that the (3) that this doctor did are already BREAKING! and it was only 2 months ago. They are a scam. Place is painted to look all nice but yet trim work is shoddy. In the kids area it looks like plaster or something is all over the wall and something on the floor. The vibe is off, like it seems like a scam the way you are greeted and on the phone. There's exposed dry wall in the room all along the floor and a paper sign taped to the wall saying no cell phones no pictures or recording. Then next to that sign is another paper sign taped to the wall with a QR code saying review us on Google - makes no sense if you can't use your phone. It was a cleaning I was there for 15 minutes early with my paperwork already done and no one in waiting area at 9:45 am. I was in the chair by 10 am which was uncomfortable and a cheap model with no arm rests for over an hour before I saw the doctor. All that got done was X-rays which the tech talked to another tech the whole time she was doing. Doctor comes in and asks a bunch of unnecessary questions about me medically. She didn't seem to know what meds do what. Then she looks and says my teeth look clean and well cared for with great hygiene. She asks when last cleaning was I say 6 months ago she goes with us and I say no in Mattapoisett. I wasn't on mass health at the time. She tells me to come back after I meet with my PCP for a cleaning and doesn't say why. She didn't say anything about x ray results. I was there for a cleaning. Lots of red flags. Some lady was screaming in the other room and the lady asked my tech to basically do it for her because she wasn't licensed or whatever and hasn't taken a test but it seemed like she had done it before unlicensed. I will be contacting board of health. I'm glad they didn't do anything because I feel like they would've caused harm to me to get more work / infection. Luckily I take very good care of my teeth and I think she knows it would be obvious if she screwed me up. Before that she asked about my weekend plans I said staying home and she just said "good" which was eerie. I always get good reviews at dentist and I know how appointments typically go. Nothing about this was typical. I said I met with my PCP for initial intake last week and she asked his name - I said it's a her and I didn't recall. The doctor she looked 20 years old, Im 32 and she looked like a college student but presented herself as the doctor. Tech dropped a tool from her bag as well and quickly put it in her bag and scurried into the other room. I doubt they clean their tools. Tldr: It seems they scammed me cause I'm on mass health to be able to charge 2 cleaning for the year despite not doing the cleaning. Cleanliness is questionable. Practice is questionable. Dr Fang ruined my teeth, told me i had 10+ cavities . Charged me over 1200 for the filings half of them were filing he wanted to re do . He ddint even mention that to me. He drilled my teeth til they were almost flat. I have been in pain for almost a year. I have had multiple refilling to fix his sloppy work and i will need another 1-2 root canals to fix the teeth he destroyed . I was never in pain prior to letting this guy work on my teeth. While smiley dental management offered to cover the cost to be seen at another practice and they performed one root canal free of charge they told me for my remaining teeth that fang destroyed id need to go somewhere else. The fact this guy is still practicing and continues to hurt patients is gross negligence on the part of smiley dental management. Beware of this place. There are many better providers that accept EPO insurance. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. This place has gone down hill. It used to be good and they used to be nice. Now they have rude receptionist and a rude dentist is isn't very good at his job also what kind of dentist has nasty yellow rotten teeth. He can't even give himself nice teeth so how can he be trusted to keep yours healthy. They are a massive rip off now as well because their prices drastically increased from what it used to be. This dental office stole almost $300 from me. I am not really one to write reviews, but this company has so many positive reviews I am sure they are buying some. I worked as a freelancer over COVID and these companies do hire people to boost their google ratings by buying positive reviews. I went because my wisdom teeth were bothering me and I wanted to get them looked at. I have dental insurance and my copay was only $20. I paid almost $300 out of pocket AND they charged my insurance the full amount (almost $300). The dental assistant was very sweet, she ran my insurance. I am still not sure if something went wrong or if this was on purpose, but either way, I was never refunded the amount. I called at least 4 times to resolve this issue and each time the same receptionist greeted me. She confirmed that I was owed money always just told me her boss would call me back to get everything sorted, but I never got a callback. Once, I was able to get in contact with who I believe was their office manager who actually told me I had a balance of about $100. She told me she would call me back but never did. I finally got the name of the company, Rahul Kahnna. There is NO contact or email for him. I never got my money back. I would also like to say the dentist that worked on me was rough and told me I had SEVEN cavities. I will say as a teenager I suffered with an eating disorder and did at one point have seven cavities that were all filled by my reputable childhood dentist. He tried to tell me they were filled poorly and needed to be redone, then shamed me for eating too many sweets. I am not a really sensitive person, but this got to me as it just seemed insensitive and brought up some poor memories from years ago. Anyways, I do not suggest going here unless you are looking to be put in pain, ridiculed, and scammed out of your money. I also want to add that my close friends are leaving negative reviews for me on Google and they are being deleted. Check the company's website, there are a bunch of five-star reviews that are all the same written in another language. Do your research. The staff is awesome! However the dentist is very rude with no regard of how to interact with her patients. She let me leave the office with a BIG abscess that she said would drain on it's own without antibiotics. Yeah....not a very bright one. I'd never go back. read more
