Such a great dentist office with an amazing staff! I've tried a few dentist in the area and nobody compares to smiles for miles. They are so friendly and always trying to take care of your teeth. I recently chipped my front teeth and was stressing over my smile. They were able to fit me into their schedule and fix my teeth as good as new. I was so happy with the fix, the color and shape look perfect! Dr Manosov is a great dentist and an artist in the tooth industry! I highly recomend going to Smiles For Miles. Before I started going to them, I was very hesitant about visiting the dentist because I was embarassed about the condition of my teeth. I finally got the courage to go, and when I did, they treated me very well. They didn't comment on the condition of my teeth in a way that made me feel bad; the dentist simply gave me a plan of what needed to be done and that was it. When I went in to get my new crown and fillings, it felt like I was just hanging out with friends, to be totally honest. Obviously, I was getting dental work done, but I was at ease because the dental assistant and the dentist kept me included in the whole process. If something hurt, I was not afraid to raise my hand and let the dentist know. It is hard to find a dental office that actually treats you like you matter and makes you feel at ease while keeping you included in the procedure. This is hard to find in dental offices these days. This review is long overdue. I have been seeing Dr Lea Manasov since I was a teenager. I am in my mid thirties now. My husband has been seeing her for over 10 years now. I cannot say how much we both appreciate her. Being in healthcare, I can say that she puts patients over profits every time. She truly loves what she does, and it shows in her work! Her assistant Rene is kind and works well with Dr Manasov. The entire staff from the front desk to the doctor have been beyond welcoming and have given me a new outlook on dental care. Very unprofessional people and if you don't get verification that you canceled an appointment, they will not let you come back. Never really thought that you would have to get a confirmation from somebody to avoid something this stupid happening.. people answering the phones are rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't take my dog here.. Reply to Micheal if you read we did but your office didn't take them out and say we didn't follow your protocol. So nice try !!!! read more

This is an unfortunate review. I have had 3 appointments scheduled with this office. The first was for a cleaning; I was very impressed with the dentist. During my cleaning she found a cracked filling, so I scheduled a follow up appointment. I was unable to make the appointment so I called the day before to reschedule the appointment. I went to the newly scheduled appointment and upon checking in I was told that I owed a no show fee. I asked for what, I haven't no showed an appointment. She told me that I rescheduled the last appointment the same day as the appointment so I was being charged a no show fee. I told her that I called the day before to reschedule and that I wasn't going to pay the fee. She stepped away from the desk to talk to the person that last spoke to me. When she came back she told me that I won't be seen unless I pay the fee. I told her that I wasn't paying the fee, she asked the other rude receptionist next to her what she thought and asked her if I should prove that I called the day before. The other receptionist didn't care and said to pay or I won't be seen. Needless to say I didn't pay the fee and I wasn't seen. I called my insurance (Medi-cal/Denti-cal) to report the situation and they informed me that it is illegal for them to charge these fees if you have this type of insurance. This office obviously doesn't know this or care to know. They had no regard for me as the patient; especially when an appointment was not no showed and they are charging fee's illegally. Beware of your rights, because this office isn't. Hiring the same quality staff as the dentist should be considered in this office. read more

Dr. Lea Manosov is an extraordinary dentist! I am extremely grateful that I was able to be seen by her! She is very intelligent, kind, and so passionate in what she does! When I went in for my first appointment, she explained everything very thoroughly. I needed fillings and cleanings, since I haven't been in a dentist office in over a year or two. She would explain step by step of each process before starting any of the procedures (which I appreciated so much). She answered all of my questions and was really patient throughout the whole visit. I went for an evaluation for implants; I had my jaw broken lost most of my teeth in my military service. I explained that I likely could not afford the treatment (The actual dental surgery screw insertion was done by a very fine man for free). "He seemed nice and said lets take a look"... if only I had run. What was suppose to be an evaluation had $574.00 in billing tacked on and they have hounded me through collections. II have tried to resolve this; two letters no response. I have given up and I am going to the BBB and the Litigation route. DO not go NEAR this place... Dr. Lea is amazing! She goes above and beyond for her patients to make sure they feel comfortable. I didn't feel rushed to be pushed out the door at any time. She's great at what she does, and wish I would have gone to her sooner. She's genuine, kind, gentle, attentive, and has great attention to detail. She knows what she's doing and what's going on. Dr. Grace is the best dentist lady I could ever ask for I've been going here since 2013 wouldn't go to any other dentist place ever I only trust her with my dental work . She is so caring and passionate about her patients very gentle . I've had horrible experiences in the past when it comes to going to the dentist office. Worst Dental office ever!! I had already done a quick check of my daughters mouth and had known she needed a filling, my husband had taken them in and the dentist had told my husband that I was confused, she didnt need any dental work done. I took them to another office and she had the proper work done and with the right evaluations, found out my daughter needed to see an endontist, because she was missing half of one of her tooths root. Im glad I did a second appointment elsewhere, to think that a certain issue could of went unnoticed and could of escalated!! Avoid!! They wanted to charge me their $25 no show fee, even though I cancelled the appointment. Lack of customer service just cause their staff didn't do their job, blaming the possible non documentation on their extern. There are a million dentists out there, why go to one that feels $25 is more important than a patient!!! read more

Dr. Lea is great at what she does, I love her. She always get the job done quick and efficient. On the other hand, the other doctor grace I think, is a joke to be honest on the times I had to see her. I would always leave disappointed even upset because she would have an attitude. The 2 stars are for the receptionist who was kind, courteous, and gave us a same day appointment for a toothache my son had been suffering from. She was great. We just moved to the area and due to my benefits from work not being active yet, my kids have Denti-cal. Well I don't think we have ever been mistreated before but the dentist did not even speak to my husband(who was in the room with my son), he tried to explain to her what was going on and she said "yeah, I'll do the cleaning" which was not why we're even there. She proceeded to clean my son's teeth and walked out. At the front desk we were given a prescription for amoxicillin and ibuprofen, and a referral to an oral surgeon. There was no explanation as to any of this and no one took the time to say anything to us, it was kind of like here's your stuff, now get out of here! Denti-cal, delta-dental, etc these all mean we are insured and the fact that they treat clients differently bc of it is something to be ashamed of. If you don't want to deal with denti-cal clients don't accept the insurance. I have never felt so belittled , I would not recommend this dentist to any one, they don't like to talk to people, which is a pretty big part of they need to do when you are a children's dentist: communicate with parents. read more
