Highly upset with myself for remaining a patient of this office for so long (approximately 5 visits…read moresince 2014). The staff is wonderful, very courteous and always willing to help in the event of a dental emergency. However my issues revolved around Dr. Care. He had terrible chairside manners when it came to interacting with me. Upon every visit he never introduced himself or spoke to me when entering the room. It was always up to me as the patient to initiate an introduction or a simple "hello" before beginning our exams. During exams, especially regarding problem areas, he was not gentle. And when bringing this to his attention I was always given rude responses. "Well you need to take better care of your teeth." "It's not my fault you're having this problem." This was a big red flag for me in the beginning, but I continued to utilize his office for my dental needs because it was convenient for me. However my last visit with him made it quite clear that he is not the dentist for me! I came in for an eval for gum pain. He was able to identify the problem and initiate a temporary solution, which I accepted. After completing the treatment, he then went on to tell the hygienist to schedule me for an extraction of the tooth. It was at this point that I began to ask questions and inquire about different options that didn't involve removing a perfectly healthy tooth. He then grew somewhat agitated and began to make statements that were completely unnecessary. He made it clear that his plan of care for me was to extract my healthy tooth, and he was adamant about not offering any additional options. While I was still talking and trying to ask more questions, he then proceeded to walk out of the room while saying "that's what I recommend, if you don't like it go somewhere else and get a second opinion." And that was the last straw for me!!! If you are someone who wants a dentist that's going to treat you like a person and not just another set of teeth, Dr. Ronald Care is not the dentist for you!

They get me in quick and take care of my dental needs and don't jerk me around with pricing. And of course Dr. Greff was pleasant as usual, and happily answered my questions. I would not recommend this dental office. My son scheduled…read morean appointment for treatment and, after seeing the total cost even with insurance, he decided not to move forward. He applied for a third party payment plan in their office, but before any treatment was performed, he canceled because the cost was simply too high. The office is now trying to charge a 15% cancellation/restocking fee based on an approximately $1,800 procedure that he never had done. On top of that, additional services were added that he never signed for, and the only document he did sign even had his name misspelled. When I spoke with the front desk, instead of helping resolve the issue, I was met with arguments, even with a customer present. I was told it could take up to six months to cancel the financing, but when I contacted the financing company directly, they told me it could be canceled within about 30 days if the dental office agrees to the cancellation with no issues. Fast and easy. It makes no sense to be charged a significant fee for treatment that was never performed

Let me start by saying what so many people often feel.... I dislike very much going to the dentist,…read moreBUT this place is a gem that eased my anxiety. The staff is friendly, I was greeted as I walked in, they were prompt with my paperwork and I was seen on time. The dental tech who did my X-ray and cleaning was very pleasant, really enjoyed her conversation and professionalism. I highly recommend giving them a try. I'm actually looking forward to my next visit and cleaning.... and that's a first ever for me when it comes to dentists.

Going to start off by saying the front desk ladies are so sweet and helpful! Some of the staff I…read moreconnected with and built trust with where as others I didn't.. If you or anyone you know is looking for a dentist please avoid Dr. Kappel Family Dentistry!! I'm so mad at myself for not walking away with the first red flag of them breaking my tooth during a cleaning and making me pay out of pocket for it to be fixed. Fast forward to other procedures they did on me, I had a horrible cavity in one of my molars and requested for them to take it out and they told me I was to young to have my teeth pulled but I knew what I wanted and didn't mind because it was a molar that nobody would be able to see.. anyway, they went ahead and started the procedure to put a crown over it however due to the big cavity I had they never cleaned it up or anything just put my crown over it and sent me on my way.. they started this procedure August 4th and had me come back FOUR different times for them to try to get my crown to fit correctly and finally the last time they told me they had "special glue" that would work for it and wouldn't cause it issues.. when all was said and done I got my permanent crown from them August 26th and it still was not fitting correctly. Last Friday my mouth started to throb while at work and I didn't think anything of it lost my appetite and did not drink much water or anything throughout the entire weekend. I went to work Monday and felt a little worse with the throbbing so I called the same dentist and tried getting in and told them I was a little soar and was swollen on the same side they did my procedure. I was supposed to go in the next day but woke up puking, had shivers/hot flashes and wasn't able to keep anything down so I ended up in the ER Tuesday night. The next morning I went to that same dentist and all they did was prescribed an antibiotic to fight the infection I thought they'd at least take the crown off and see what was under it as it literally felt like it was going to explode in my mouth! They didn't.. I came home went to bed that night and woke up the next morning with my mouth swollen even worse so I reached out to a different dentist that got me in for a consultation the same day (yesterday) and was able to get me in today for an emergency root canal to stop the infection and relieve some of my pain.. they were so nice and walked me through every little step they were about to do before they did it. My swelling is already going down because they took the time to care and actually help me out. Sorry for the long post.. but I hope everyone looks more into who they allow to work on their teeth! I drove all the way to the dentist today traumatized from this dentist that worked on my teeth.. Arrived at the new one and everyone welcomed me with open arms today even when I was sobbing to them about not wanting the procedure to hurt.. I have NEVER cried going to a dentist but I did today because of my last experience at this dental office.
