I am new to Zachary, LA and I have heard mixed reviews on this place so I thought would schedule an appointment as a new patient and make up my own mind. I went on their website entered all my information and no call back. I tried calling the Zachary location, the phone rang six (6) times and a lady picked up the phone with an attitude and told me they wouldn't be able to see me until Mid September (I am guessing that offering me a appointment so far away that, that would deter me from wanting to come in). I told he that I was fine with a Mid September appointment. She then placed me on hold for at least 10 minutes. I hung up and I called back and no one answered the phone. I called the Baton Rouge location and a female answered the phone took all my information including insurance information and ended the call saying, "that someone would be in touch with me". I haven't heard back from anyone and its been a week. Its sad when the people in the front (receptionist, answering service) hinder the business from making money because they don't really want to work. They can make or break a business an in this case, you just lost a customer with great insurance who tried not once, twice but three times to get an appointment to your office. I just wanted an appointment and I couldn't get that whether it was mid September or October. This reflects poorly on Smile Studio and the people that represent this office. I will not reach out again and now I have nothing good to say about this office like the others that I mentioned it to. The staff needs lessons in customer service. I am sure the dentist would like to know that his staff stopped a new patient from coming in and making his business some money. read more

Dr Carter has now become one of my favorite dentists. He's always available to answer any questions and he makes sure his patients are relaxed and comfortable.
