On September 21, 2026, my 8:00 AM appointment was rescheduled because Dr. Taylor was having vehicle issues. I was asked to move my appointment to 1:30 PM, to which I agreed. While I was on my way, I was called again and asked to move it to 4:45 PM, which I also agreed to. While on my way a second time, the appointment was canceled entirely. Today, September 22, 2026, I received a call at 9:43 AM asking if I could come in at 1:00 PM. I agreed once again. Due to traffic, I arrived and checked in at 1:21 PM, only to be turned away and told that Dr. Taylor could not see me due to the office's grace period policy. Given that I accommodated multiple last-minute schedule changes and cancellations on your end over the past two days, I find it extremely inconsiderate that no flexibility was extended to me upon my arrival. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. Please process the following requests immediately: 1. Cancel all current and future appointments for both myself and my husband. 2. They are hard to get on the phone also. When I show up after taking time off from work, all they do is reschedule. I called corporate in December, after the 2nd time it happened. They said they'd have someone call me. I finally got a call from the office manager in late February after calling corporate and the location again. When I called to schedule a new appointment (this is still from what I was supposed to have done in November), I was told that I'd have to have a totally different service since I hadn't been seen in 6 months. Um, it was 6 months because they kept canceling.

My appointment was scheduled for 10:00 AM, and I arrived early at 9:30 AM. I explained to the doctor that my tooth was now throbbing and hurting after she examined it, and that it was not hurting like this before I came in. Her response was essentially, "There's no abscess, so I don't know why it's hurting. Take some ibuprofen." I felt completely dismissed and unheard. I then asked what I was supposed to do about the tooth, and she told me I needed a full work-up before an extraction and would have to make another appointment. After already waiting two weeks for this appointment and spending nearly three hours in the office, that was incredibly frustrating. When I pointed out that I had not been "squeezed in as an emergency," because I had waited two weeks to be seen, she reluctantly said she would "see what she could do." I was then sent back to the lobby to wait another 20 minutes to see if another patient showed up. That patient never came in, yet I was told they did--even though I was sitting in the lobby where patients check in. By this point, I was in tears, asking what I was supposed to do after waiting weeks for help. I left feeling dismissed, misled, and still in pain. The lack of compassion, communication, and professionalism was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this office based on my experience.

They were able to get me a new crown in less than 2 weeks to replace a crown I had done in California (which was improperly fitted and causing a lot of sensitivity) . My new crown is great, no sensitivity or issues flossing, and I can finally chew on that side of my mouth again! However, the crown that was put on at MDS less than six months ago fell out and it was suggested that I go back to let them fix it to avoid paying out of pocket. I should have just paid the money. The appointment was made for noon. Apparently the doctor takes his lunch at noon. Has anybody told the people who set appointments? Why are appointments being made for when the doctor is not in the building? Why is the doctor not checking his schedule before leaving to see if he has a patient waiting? After the hygienist/assisstant did as much as she could do without the doctor present, she let the doctor know I was waiting. He was already out at lunch, but she said he'd be back within 10 minutes. I sat there for another hour and a half before he came strolling in, no care in the world for the fact that I had been waiting for a total of two hours at that point. Just a "well I take lunch at noon" as if it was MY FAULT the appointment was scheduled at that time. Not only that, while I was waiting nobody came in to see how I was doing or provide an update. It's almost as if I was forgotten about. I've never had a GREAT experience here, but they've been okay enough and the studio is close to my house. The hoops I've jumped through this year, though, had definitely already turned me off completely. Today's experience just reified my decision to never come back. If this crown falls off again, I'll just pay out of my pocket to get it fixed this time (and maybe then I won't have anymore issues with it).

My dentist retired so i'm having to look for a new one…read more I had a implant put in and it failed due to a massive infection. So now instead of a implant i have to have a bridge done. I went in to get a teeth cleaning as that was priority one since it had been 3 years prior.This way a new dentist could see everything more clear. The cleaning went great and the dentist seemed to be a good fit with her information she gave me that i had already been given from previous dentist. I had to set up another appointment to look at the rest of my issues because she didn't have enough time that day. so i got my price for the bridge 7600 which i have no problem with except one small part which i planed to ask her about and resceduled to today to plan the rest. Now a crown includes impression to make it.Grind the tooth down. Make a temp crown.Remove temp and guma, cement, place new crown.basically all labor and installation materials.and the new crown itself.1000 to 1400 is fair prices.they came in at 1200 so price is fine. So i went in today to do the 2nd part and get a scedule for the teeth that needed to be fixxed asap so as not to lose them. Everything went fine and i agreed with the plan. Where things went bad is when i tested her character by asking that simple question. IF A CROWN INCLUDES ALL LABOR, MATERIAL. THEN WHY WOULD I PAY FULL PRICE FOR THE BRIDGE SECTION THAT REQUIRES NO TOOTH LABOR.WHY PAY 1200 FOR A SECTION THAT DOESN'T HAVE ANY LABOR OR CEMENTS ETC. IF ANYTHING IT SHOULD BE THE SAME PRICE AS A IMPLANT WHICH IS TYPICALLY 700 ABOUT HALF OF A FULL CROWN. Instead of being professional she got mad and lashed out.I said it was very dishonest that you would try to convince me its your suppliers fault as they make the prices.Instead of taking ownership that its YOUR practice and you set labor prices not YOUR supplier. I never raised my voice, i was calm and regular volume. I would never cheat or pass the blame to any of my customers and id expect the same from others to me. she started raising her voice and telling me i can go anywhere else .I don't have to choose her.which of corse i said i agree and will be doing just that,i don't deal with dishonest people. She then said good i'm glad, imagine having to deal with you everyday.She muttered some other curse words under her breath as she walked away. When I called about it I was told that they did not have enough time to get the prior authorization prior to my procedure and they would not do an appeal to my insurance company. I refused to pay it. 14 years later they have turned me over to collections. I have had no communication from them since 2011. I advised the young lady at the collection agency - Syncon - that I would not be paying this and that Dentfirst is breaking the law as the statute of limitations have expired - it's 6 years in Georgia. Contact me again and you'll be talking to my attorney. Oh and instead of collection agency calling me they called my 71 year old brother who has Parkinson's and was very upset by the call.
