Just gonna go ahead and remind you permanent teeth don't grow back! Wish I had thought about that before the stupid cliff. Anyways, long story short; I have had at least 30 dental professionals work on my mouth in the past four years. Out of all of them, I can easily say, Dr. Dorothy was the most thorough. She and her team took care of my teeth like I was family. My initial one hour appointment for a filling turned into three hours as she realized there was a lot more work. There wasn't a sales pitch or pressure. She simply gave me my options and explained the outcome of each choice. I couldn't believe she took the time to explore all my options. So rare these days. I wish I found Dr. Dorothy and her team years ago. Side Perk: Also as the name suggests, all the chairs in the office have a gorgeous view of Gore Creek and the towering East Vail Chutes. They are dentists that are truly passionate and legitimately care about their patients, their community, and the work they do. They're a family practice which is becoming less and less common, even through the valley. They care about doing right by their patients and are truly focused on dental health. I will always appreciate that they have NEVER prioritized upselling or trying to get people to do something because it'll make them more. On top of that, Ryan does some of the BEST aesthetic dental work I've seen. Overall, they're just great people and great dentists. However, with the retirement of my Denver oral surgeon and learning about Dr. Heggland in Frisco, I decided to stay up in the mountains for this work. That was definitely the right call. My procedure involved two extractions (leading to implants) - caddy-corner in my mouth with one on the upper left and the other on the lower-right. No fun. But the procedure was efficient and not that onerous. And as Dr. Heggland had predicted, the aftermath was more uncomfortable than painful. Nothing that I couldn't handle with some periodic Advil. To top it off, his staff and the entire operation are friendly and personable. With a minimum of paperwork and delay. Two teeth gone - but two thumbs up.
