Dr. Kevin re-did the filling on the very back tooth and closed the food trap between the teeth, which resolved the issue and now I don't get food stuck there anymore! He and the dental assistant (I'm sorry, I forgot her name but she was great), were very friendly and did a great job!! Dr. Kevin was very thorough and took his time to make sure he filed the filling down until I felt comfortable with the bite. My first visit was a consultation, like it says on the site, and they worked me in for a cleaning too since there was time (woo!). Throughout the cleaning, the hygienist explained exactly what she was doing, what she could see I was doing well on my own, and what I could work on better (and WHY it mattered and the effect it was having on my mouth). I was shown several cavities which I neglected to make an appointment for (they did offer, but I was in a rush). Second visit was just a cleaning, but equally fantastic. We discussed the hygiene habits I started and dropped, some problem areas, and she also told me exactly why I was likely having the problems I was having and what could resolve them. We also discussed my outstanding fillings for my cavities, and explained what could happen if I pushed it off for too much longer. Also got a little lesson in enamel, dentin, and nerves and how that works in. I just LOVE everything about Aspen. My teeth were neglected in childhood so playing catch up as an adult has been a nightmare, so I am so grateful that the team has taken the time to talk me through the what/why's/how's of dental hygiene, plus other factors. It's unlike any other dental experience I've had in my life. I know several reviews have mentioned pricing. Any time they have recommended a service or product, I got a quote. I knew exactly what I would be paying for before they started/scheduled the service. I scheduled my cavity fillings, was told what the price would be, and paid ahead of time (that's an option, not a requirement). So that's nice. Seriously, love this place and the care they take.

I passed on that. They screwed up my insurance billing and I had to call and go into the office to get them to bill my insurance. Assurance was that they would not charge anything for a first visit. Six months after the visit I received a bill for charges in excess of usual and customary. I'll mail a check and find another dentist.

The staff was pleasant, caring, and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions, accepted my insurance without any issues, and completed all the proper exams thoroughly. They even tried to coordinate with my previous dentist to get my records, but when that didn't work out, they still handled everything during the same visit and gave me a clear plan moving forward.
