They have a lot of weave selection but I couldn't find anything similar to my hair color so I had to chose a different color. For the braiding gel, I couldn't find the exact one I needed so I went with an alternative and thankfully it worked out well. Pricing here is ok, the weave wasn't too bad and the gel is comparable to other beauty store pricing. I didn't notice man y workers, the man that rang up our order was friendly.

When calling the pharmacy, we were on hold for 26 minutes & then disconnected, or the recording says they are working on it, for 4 days?! Even going through the drive through for pick up takes forever with 4 or 5 cars ahead of us. One of mine was an antibiotic that I needed. We are looking into transferring all of our prescriptions to CVS.

Especially when there are no returns or exchanges. In that moment I think of a place I'd heard about on social media that also happens to be black owned. I mention it to grandma she's excited about it so we go, but mind you I'm still hungry lol. We get to Washington Square Mall and walk across the whole thing, we didn't realize it was near the Target (there's another closer to where we parked but it's a different beauty supply from House of Beauty Miss Cutie). We didn't mind the walk though we both needed it. When we get inside we were immediately greeted...check. I immediately spotted a couple of things grandma would like...check. I asked could she try them on, and Miss Cutie said yes and explained her try-on policy...checkmate. We were thoroughly taken care of, the entire process. I love how she looked out and cared for my grandma. She was kind and funny. She helped grandma get in and out of her different wigs. It really felt like we were chilling and playing dress up. And the hair was really great quality and a great price. There was a lot of cute stuff in there, I even snagged a Fanny pack that I can't wait to wear. I enjoyed myself so much I forgot I was hungry. My grandma was so happy. When we were walking to the car she thanked me for bringing her there. And talked about how nice the lady was. And guess what...she finally asked me what we were going to eat because now she was hungry. So we went to (my favorite spot) Burgeezy and she showed off her new hair! This is so the dentistry can pump you and the insurance company for as much money as possible. It's the name of the game in health care today and everyone knows it. Another thing they do is tell you that insurance will cover things that will not be covered. They are completely misleading with a waiver form and they know this. Dr. Church plays that game with patients. He never really fixed the problem I first came in for. So, three visits later and I am still waiting in line to get work done. This is a great example of why the health care system in America is broken. It's all about maximin cash. It's NOT about the patent. So, don't let them push scaling and polishing and all kinds of other routine garbage on you. They gave me a cock and bull story about how scaling will prevent inflection when we do the actual work you wanted, etc. Dr. Church is a bit of a con man if you ask me. He pushes treatment that you may not need. He knows this, but of course will never admit it. Reputable dentists in foreign countries never do this to you!!!

I recently referred my elderly mother to this office, our experience with front staff was once again less than desirable - very disappointing. A dental practice should provide great care AND excellent customer service, but the front desk is failing in that regard. I hope management takes steps to improve this. I do wonder if they would allow their front staff to be this unprofessional if they were located in Carmel or Geist.

Less than an hour later I received a text at 4:30 PM stating that my appointment the next day would be canceled because I didn't return a phone call to confirm. I replied to the text immediately stating that I was unaware that there was a condition that I had to confirm the appointment - I am an adult and if I make an appointment I'm going to show up for the appointment unless I cancel without jumping through hoops to confirm. They replied to the text saying that they could reschedule me and would not be seeing me for my scheduled appointment. My husband called and they explained they canceled both of our appointments and we'd have to reschedule. Mind you, he gave them all of his information as our family information when he made the appointment and at the end they asked for my phone number as well - they did not call him to confirm his appointments at all or use the number he gave, but rather only called my phone number. Seems to me like they were overbooked and used this as an excuse because there is no way they filled our noon appointments between 4:38 PM the evening before and 8 AM the next morning. This was our first experience with this practice and can't imagine putting up with this kind of service. We will be telling our referring physician and also anyone we know in the area because when you lose a days work and are inconvenienced to this degree, it's completely unacceptable. As someone in the medical field, this is not standard practice from the practitioner's point of view. As a dental patient with an ortho appointment today 3 hours later than the appointment scheduled with Midwest Integrative Dental Medicine, this didn't happen with them... or with any other provider I've gone to in all these 55 years. The woman paid $300 for a style that started to fall apart after a few days, apparently she took $800 work of merchandise before the stylist arrived to fix it. My stylist took 3 hours to do a style that should not take more than an hour and a half - tops. I know b/c I've gotten it done multiple times. I was nervous when she kept unbraiding after she would braid but it was a leave out sew in and I did not get my hair washed nor blow dryed. She did drop $45 off of the price which I appreciated but I was upset b/c I arrived at 9:30 and left at 12:40, which caused me to be late to work. One day update: a section of my sew in is coming undone on one side.
