In 2-3Tagen bekommen sie eine Mail und können dann die Geräte am gleichen Tag abholen. OK. Nach 2Wochen mal nachgefragt über Callcenter in Köln. Geräte sind noch nicht da, wir melden uns. Mmmh. Heute, nach 3Wochen, bin ich persönlich im Laden um mal nachzufragen, was denn nun ist. Drama: Geräte hätte ich bezahlt und schon mitgenommen. What? Die Geräte waren doch garnicht im Laden. Mmmh. Der gute Mann holt den 1.Verkäufer von dem Tag. Ja ich hatte tatsächlich 2Verkäufer. Er sagt, ja meine Pause fing in 5Min an und ich habe an Kollegin sowieso übergeben. Zu mir sagte er aber an dem Tag " Meine Kollegin übernimmt sie dann mal ich habe schon den nächsten Kunden. Geht's noch. Die hat den Vorgang dann so abgeschlossen, mit Geschirrspüler 60 breit, anstatt 45 und Kunde nimmt alles gleich mit. Morgen kann ich alles abholen. Ich bin dann mal gespannt und dann erstmal lange weg von Media/Saturn

I haven't ever enjoyed doing laundry this much. It cost 50c for soap and 50c for fabric softener. Both are dispensed into little reuseable cups. All € is put into a centrally located vend and then you type in the washer or dryer number in and then walk over to the machine and turn it on. There are a few chairs provided and there's a ledge you can sit on. There are not specific folding tables, all the area on top of the bank of washers can be used for folding. It's very efficient. I love this neighborhood. I could have popped over next door for a beer, but why not just stay and enjoy the best waschsalon ever? There's time enough for beer after fluffing and folding.

They have an in-house repair shop. A friend of mine took in his old sewing machine for repair and was very happy with their service. I just purchased a brand new Bernina. Training on how to use your new machine is included in the purchase price. The sales people were extremely knowledgeable and took lots of time explaining each machine's qualities without bein pushy. I'm so glad there are still actual addresses that don't start with www.

Along with piles and piles of beautiful china, they also sell electrical kitchen appliances, pots, pans and many other things for kitchen. You can also find glasses and cutlery there. Don't expect anything less than Christofle though. They also have quite a selection of children porcelain sets, which I think make beautiful gifts. Themes are both traditional and moderm, i.e. Benjamin Bunny and Die Maus can co-exist on one shelf. Very beautiful shop, worth visiting.

Damit wechselte der gelernte Graveur vom Handwerk zum Handel - mit feinen Gläsern und Glaswaren. Sein Sohn Friedrich Weitz stieg in seine Fußstapfen und eröffnete 1892 das erste Geschäft in Hannover. Auch hier wurde zunächst mit feinen Glaswaren gehandelt, bis zur Jahrhundertwende erstes Porzellan aus England hinzukam. Mit Otto Töpperwien gründete Friedrich Weitz 1904 das Ladenlokal in Hamburg am Neuen Wall. Heute führt Jürgen Weitz die Firmengruppe in fünfter Generation.
