Truffle mushroom Swiss

Tried here before my departure. Service - not fault of the people working but need more than one counter person taking orders and giving out the food at the same time. Took 10-15 mins for the food to be given which was disappointing as my family finished their meal from somewhere else by the time I got back. The lady that helped was courteous and friendly. Food - was fresh made and hot. Smash fries that I had but did not get picture of. Was oily and over fried, extra crispy. Truffle mushroom Swiss Burger was pretty good but small compared to other smash burgers I have had before from other places. Like size of a junior whopper from Burger King which was disappointing for the price paid for.

You know I adore Smashburger almost as much as my beloved Shake Shack. Oh who am I kidding? I love them both equally. Which is to say, I am out of my mind for them. This location was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. The burger and fries...well let's just say the deliciousness of them made me spin out of control. So much flavor packed into those meals, man.

This is the second time coming here at pearson. We had breakfast last time and lunch this time. They were busy, but the service was fast and friendly. They have plenty of eating area, we spent 32 dollars in total for 2 people which is a good price. The buger meat was very tasty and the sweet potato fries were overfilled and crisp. I know the airport is very stressful but sitting down and enjoying a not super overpriced meal makes it better. If you are planning to eat at the airport and want something different def check this place out.

There's really not much to Smashburger. It's a fast food burger joint in Terminal 3 Departures at Pearson Airport in Toronto. It's a very busy location with not enough seating. The food is decent but not outstanding. The prices are a tad high but that's to be expected from an airport location. The portions are a bit on the small side. I had their Truffle Mushroom Swiss burger with sautéed crimini mushrooms & truffle mayo on an egg bun, and a side of truffle fries. While the flavour was nice, it was a little greasy and on the small side, which left me wanting more, especially for the price. A double patty would be better. The folks with smaller appetites might disagree. I don't fly much anymore but I'm happy to see so many choices of restaurants at the airport these days. I'll probably try somewhere else next time.

This is by far the worst burger I ever ate in my life! Seriously how can you screw up a burger this bad and then charge $10 for it. Burger patty was absolutely dry and had no flavour. I know they called it "Smashburger" but seems like they are smashing the buns too, seriously this is unacceptable, even for an airport restaurant.

found myself at pearson and felt hungryyyyy saw smashburger! hmmm....looks interesting! never heard of smashburger before ...pictures look appetizing....it was either that or some food court chinese fastfood which looked pale and ewww... ordered the kids cheese burger, 2 classic smashes and a side order of sweet potato fries, and an oreo milkshake! son loved the cheeseburger! according to him it was cheesy goodness....came with fries and a drink. fries were crispy and seasoned well! tasted like mcdonalds fries so all good! the classic smashburgers came with cheese! its size was at least a quarter pounder. way better than mcdonalds for sure! patty was juicy and seasoned well. cheese was oozing with cheesy goodness...lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and crisp! reminds me of in and out burger in cali. sweet potato fries were awesome too. seasoned well! crispy and had bite, just like the fries. my only problem is that the qty is so few. its obvious that they are skimping on the qty. the holder easily swallows the serving of the fries...to think that the classic burgers dont come with fries - yes you read it right! no combos here...u gotta order the sweet potato fries separate as well as regular fries. only kids meals and chicken fingers come with fries. one good factor is that they make the burgers as you order. there is a few minutes wait as the patties are cooked to order. didnt taste like frozen patties but freshly made. not to be out done, even the bun was good. so soft and moist! not stale and unassuming like most burger joints. you can literally appreciate the quality of the bread too. the oreo milkshake was amazing! takes me down memory lane of the milkshakes at shake shack in nyc. its that good! boom! well worth the calorie intake! overall, i had a good experience! drinks were unlimited refills and staff were quick and efficient! always service with a smile! happy eating!

The place itself is pretty simple, more of a casual spot. Not super aesthetic or anything, but it's clean and works for a quick meal. It was busy when I went, so clearly a popular spot. We got a few things: the Oklahoma Fried double smash, the classic double, and the truffle mushroom Swiss double. The burgers were good, like no complaints, but I'll be honest they were kinda mid compared to the hype. The patties were cooked well and everything tasted fresh, but nothing really stood out or made me think wow I need this again. The onion rings were sooo good though. Easily the best part of the meal. Super crispy, not greasy, and just done perfectly. I'd go back just for those. It is a bit pricey though. The burgers are like $14-$18, and once you add sides it adds up pretty fast. For what you get, it does feel a little expensive. Service was good, everything came out pretty quick which I liked. Overall, it's a decent spot and worth trying once, but it didn't fully live up to the hype for me. I'd probably rate it around a 7/10, mainly carried by the onion rings lol.

From the moment we walked in, Khalid--now officially our "uncle"--welcomed us with warmth and hospitality that you just don't find everywhere. He made sure we were comfortable, checked in on us like family, and truly made us feel cared for. And the food? Absolutely incredible. I had the Hot Canadiana, and it was a flavor explosion--juicy, perfectly cooked beef with just the right kick from the jalapeños. Every bite had the perfect balance of spice, savoriness, and freshness. It was so good that I had to come back the next day for round two, and it was just as amazing. This is what customer service should be. Khalid uncle runs this place with so much love, and you can taste it in every bite. Nestled among many eateries in the Ridgeway Plaza, GC Burger has prime real estate and faces Eglington, making it easy to spot. It's not a very big space, with a few regular tables and high tables for seating and self serve drink station. We ordered the family meal which allows you to choose any 4 burgers (beef patty or chicken sandwiches), 4 fountain drinks and 2 family sized fries. My 7- and 9-yo ordered the Classic Burger that was topped with real cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and choice of condiments. You can tell that it quality beef, just one bite, and even my kids can tell that it's the good stuff. My husband had the Canuck which came with mushrooms, swiss cheese, maple bacon jam and GC truffle aioli. You can really taste the truffle and maple bacon jam on this burger. I had the spicy chicken sandwich loaded with pickles, jalapenos and GC spiced aioli. We also had cajun fries (I felt that there was too much seasoning) and regular hand cut fries. I've been to a lot of burger joints (Gladiator Burger, Chops, South St burger, A&W, etc) and GC burger easily tops the list. Happy munching!

Both times the food was absolutely amazing, the chicken they have is thick and not mostly batter unlike a typical Popeyes or KFC. The chicken was seasoned to perfection and it's one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had in Mississauga. The service is great as well, if you dine in they serve it right to your table unlike a typical fast food joint. The employees are very pleasant and I felt like they went above and beyond with the quality of food to the quality of service. Known by their big, messy smash burgers, Gladiator delivers on offering all the greasy goodness you're looking for. I tried the Liberator burger and got a side of onion rings. Like other premium burger joints -- getting a combo is extra (+$5.39) on top of the burger price. So I wouldn't say this is affordable for an everyday fast food experience. The Liberator was delicious though! Featured a cheddar-stuffed portobello mushroom that is breaded and deep fried. Basically akin to Burgers Priest's "The Priest" burger. The onion rings were passable but not the best breading. It was pretty oily and heavy. Could not finish them. Would only return if a friend was craving big burgers.

DONE! Food did take some time, so keep that in mind. I think I waited ~10mins after ordering. Both burger and fries were in open containers in the brown paperbag. For the fries, I'm guessing so it's that they don't get soggy. Well, they did anyway within the 5-10mins before I was able to eat them. Not sure why the box that the burger was in was left open. Luckily, they use a wax-lined box because that thing was saucy! Great vessel to eat over as your hands will get dirty. Burger patty was a good size and it was JUICY. Bros burger had grilled onions and a creamy-orangey coloured sauce that had a bit of a kick to it! It was good and you can actually taste the meat flavour. Fries were good, well seasoned, but again, they did get a bit soggy during the short transfer. And like many of the reviewers mentioned, YES, there was a good portion - enough for at least 2ppl! I mistakenly ordered a large, it was a mistake because they suck. Super soggy and tasteless. I coated my fries in a meat rub and into the air fryer they went. I liked my burger, it was great. I loved seeing new menu items, such as the Nashville Chicken, which I decided to try. The verdict? Everything was great! I love how the burgers are always made juicy, tasty and that you can customize the toppings you want. Pricing is affordable, and there is a great selection to choose from. The strawberry milkshake brought back memories of CNE and tasted like a funnel cake - it was the highlight drink for me. The oreo shake was also good, though I preferred the strawberry. I love the spices added on the tornado fries. I personally prefer regular fries or poutine over the cheesy fries, but I still liked the options available for the sides. I also love the jalapeño poppers and Mac n cheese bites. Washroom was clean and the location is ideal.
