We called in and we asked if they can do balayage and they said yes so we booked an appointment. When we arrived, Daniel is a very nice guy and has a good sense of humour. He really knows how to cut hair really well and gives you opinions and options. His assistant however, I don't think she knows how a balayage works. I wanted a dark red balayage ombre. I showed the assistant pictures of how I wanted the colour of my hair to be like but when it was done, my hair didn't have a gradient. Also the inside of my hair didn't have much of a transition from going black to dark red. They checked me in ; hung up my jacket even put the cap on me to start my hair . When the hairdresser; I believe her name was Olga ; came over she started questioning me . Oh does your hair turn curly when it's wet? Is your hair difficult to style . I think your hair is too short to do foils . Etc etc . Then went on to say she doesn't have experience with short hair . He even tries to skip the wash in a "wash, cut, style" service. The cut was really unprofessional and his tools would dig into my scalp, i later found a bit of dried blood. the wash was probably 5 minutes long. during styling, Instead of fixing the cut he just applies more and more product. When i tell him it's flat, he just says "that's how i do combovers. it won't be flat after you wash it."
