I must say the service and cuts are STILL unmatched. The price hasn't changed much either, even with inflation. We've even moved 35 minutes away, but I have zero issues making the trip. My son absolutely LOVES Amy and Tina, and his haircuts are always top notch. At this point he would probably lose his mind if I took him elsewhere.

I also had the deep conditioning mask which was referred after everything with a second toning 20 min it was 4 I had been here for a hot min another customer came in and between my second toner stylist was going back amd fourth between us clients. Time to cut i got nervous I was stuttering asking her if she remember the photo I showed her she said yes so she parted my hair on the side after telling her I wear it both directions STILL with her siccors and Cut my hair in a straight line. Did not touch the shorter layers I have or my bangs just the straight line then she began the blowout and style another 30 mins after all this time and money I am extremely happy with how my hair turned out. Recommending IF you are not in a hurry and or you have patience. Color processing is amazing here if you do not trust just anyone with you hair these ladies will have your hair looking healthy and beautiful by the time you leave.

If you want someone who is talented and understands what this technique is, you can stop looking now. I have done the research and spent the money for you, so you don't have to. My journey to get to Amanda started here. I have been rehoused to the Seattle area since we lost our home in the Malibu wildfires in 2018. As a result of cleaning out our condo, two months later, my husband and I were both diagnosed with cancer within three weeks of each other. Beginning a very long year of treatment, I had my head shaved. It grew in an ugly mousey grey. I named the color, "Rat Bitch Grey". I began the long search for a stylist who was knowledgeable, specifically in "Grey Blending". Grey blending is a hair coloring "weaving" technique that incorporates some of your existing grey, and adding low and highlight colors, creating a more a more seamless transition to a natural silver look, without the heavy lines of demarcations at the roots of your hair. What I found was that many stylists call grey blending a "color correction" and it's common for stylists to charge an hourly or daily rate for this service. It's not a color correction really. I have had years of using high and lowlights on my blond hair and not charged for a color correction. Color correction means they don't have training experience in grey blending. With so much of the population turning grey, hair stylists will be doing lots of grey blending in the future. Don't be fooled. Then I discovered, Amanda, a stylist at the Teze Salon in Puyallup, WA. I found her on Instagram and wrote to her about my dilemma. Not only did she nail the haircut I wanted, but she also created a stunning, personally unique color and cut, that parallels the services I had as a client at the Sally Hershberger salon in L.A. and NYC, or the three salons in Downtown Seattle that I went to. They all falsely advertised "grey blending services " in their menus too. All BS imho. We are now living seasonally both in Malibu and Seattle, and I seriously might fly back for a few days to get my hair done by Amanda t the Teze again. With my health struggles abating, I want to celebrate by looking great. Because for me, when my hair looks good, I feel better. I will post pictures later.
