After three…read moredays of not being able to start the RV, but assuring me he would, (did not follow proper fuel priming procedures), he refused to work on it any longer, told me there was something major wrong, maybe lift pump, and informed me I'd have to have it towed and fixed at my expense. I paid for the "service" performed by Clinton, then for tow to Trailercraft. After charging the dead batteries Clinton automotive caused, the mechanic at trailercraft followed the proper priming procedures and started the rv, immediately. I then paid trailercraft for their service. I asked Clinton automotive to split the cost of the tow, charging batteries and starting, which they refused. I thought that was a very fair offer. I am now taking legal action to recover all my costs for their negligence. Beware.

I was in town from across the country on an RV trip. I needed my RV trailer wheel bearings repacked…read moreand came to this business. HUGE mistake. Avoid Alaska trailer as they can leave you absolutely stranded due to incompetence and unprofessional work, they are lucky I didn't take them to small claims court, very lucky. The job was completed and I made it to the Yukon Territory about 2 weeks later, traveling no more than 65 mph and a wheel bearing burned up. I was in the middle of nowhere, 2hrs from any community. 8 hrs and $900 later I was towed into Whitehorse YT at a shop. 3 days later and $2500 I was back on the road. I tried to get Alaska Trailer to do the right thing and reimburse for the towing, that didn't happen. They did refund for my cost of the one bearing repair but not the towing. If they were a legit, ethical business in Anchorage they would have refunded the towing and their initial fees for doing the crappy, work to begin with. Their work should not be allowed in Alaska and they do not stand behind their work. Get stranded because of them and oh well, not willing to make it right. You have been warned!

After doing a ton of research on prices, capabilities and such, we decided to head out to Bubba's to check them out. Their prices were great with what you get and from what I could tell, we got more for our money, going with them. We went out there planning on buying a specific trailer and then after seeing them, checking out all the bells and whistles, we actually went with a different model. Very casual, no pressure or haggling. What you see is what you get and we like that. We worked with Alex who is their mechanic, so he was able to answer all of our questions, along with pointing out some things we hadn't thought of. We received a military discount, which is always greatly appreciated! I highly recommend them for anyone in need of a workhorse of a trailer!!

Here is why I can't say the house was cleaned to my expectations: Each cleaner worked in her own area but as far as I could tell no one did a run-through at the end to make sure nothing was forgotten. Most of the cabinet faces were washed but not all. The front of the kitchen peninsula was neglected and that is a biggie as it faces the living areas. The window seals and ledges were still dusty. I went around and cleaned what they missed and wasn't even too sad about that. At this point I would've gladly given them 4 stars and maybe even 5. The part that was dumbfounding to us was they didn't clean the freezer section of the fridge. It's a combo fridge andin my other houses I've never had a deep cleaner *not* wipe down the freezer part. When I realized the freezer had been forgotten, I called to let them know and the response came back as texts. She told me we asked for the fridge to be cleaned but didn't mention the freezer. I could pick up the slack on the other things that got overlooked but due to a medical challenge I cannot clean a freezer. At the end she offered (again, via text) to send someone back (for an undisclosed price) but it's been 4 days and I've still heard nothing back. More than anything I'm disappointed because we paid a considerable amount of money and it seems no one from White Lilac cared enough to tie up loose ends. Again, I feel like the ladies did a fine job; the problem is with the way the service is run. Someone should walk through the property at the end to ensure no one forgot anything. And maybe next time someone asks to have their fridge cleaned, you can get the customer to specify about the freezer so you don't run into this problem again. By the way, just to make sure we weren't up in the night, I happened to be in a meeting the next day and all 14 ppl agreed that in their minds, cleaning a fridge that's a combo means cleaning the freezer too. I would recommend this service but with the caveats that the customer needs to be very specific about what they want cleaned and someone needs to be there to make sure everything was cleaned.

The plan went sideways fast when one of the trailer tires blew out, the rim hit the road, and I had to limp into the Carr's Quality Center Aurora Village parking lot. A couple of towing companies told me flat-out, "No way, we're not set up to handle a boat." Then I called @Vulcan Towing & Recovery. Without hesitation, they said: "No problem, we'll be right there." Sure enough, they arrived quickly, and within 10 minutes had the boat safely loaded up and on its way to its final resting place. HORRIBLE experience with the tire changeover this year through Flat On the Spot (Anchorage…read morecompany). The tire changeover resulted in large, deep gouges around the perimeter on all four rims. I messaged the owner, Jason Woscek, who never responded to me but sent his "lead employee" to my home to inspect my rims and assess the damage. I was told by his employee that all four rims would need to be replaced, and he further stated, "that is why the company has insurance". He took photos and said he would talk to the Owner, Jason Woscek. It was then relayed to me from the employee that Jason said I could simply "leave it as is" or he would talk to someone about powder coating the rims. The damage occurred on October 21st. I have heard nothing from the Owner directly, except one return text message that said "working on it" as he continues to blow me off and ignore the situation. While it is completely understandably that mistakes are made, what is not understandable is the lack of professionalism by the Owner of this company. The Owner has now ghosted me.

The car was out of alignment when I picked up(was still aligned after dropping off). The left side of truck that incurred the damage is not aligned with right side of vehicle. 4x4 decals were not replaced. To top it off, the battery was dead. So after picking up, my first stop was autozone for a battery, and tire shop for a alignment. Before leaving the shop and pointing out these issues I was told the job was done and take it up with your insurance. Great way to treat a veteran to top it off.

The gentleman on the phone was super helpful. We let him know what happened and he let us know he was able to help us jack up the trailer and swap tires out (we had a spare). They don't sell rims. But they do sell tires. They let us unhook the trailer and kept an eye on it while we ran home to get the spare. Because of course it's the day we took the spare off to carry other goods we needed for our trip. Very friendly service. Two bathrooms that are customer use only and relatively clean. If you end up with a tire issue in the area I recommend stopping here. They're friendly, accommodating and not trying to rip you off.
