Both of my children have grown tremendously since attending KinderCare, and the difference has been very noticeable. They're learning so much while building confidence, friendships, and important social skills. One thing I especially appreciate is how intentional they are with their programming. During the school year, they do an amazing job teaching concepts like patterns, early math, and problem-solving. Then when summer arrives, they shift the atmosphere to feel much more like summer camp. The kids are still learning every day, but it's through games, experiments, special activities, and hands-on experiences that make learning exciting. They also bring in special guests throughout the summer, like puppet shows, magicians, and Scales and Tails. There have been mornings when my kids weren't excited to leave the house, but once they remembered what was happening at school that day, they couldn't wait to get there. As a parent, that's one of the best compliments a daycare can receive. I also really appreciate the app they use to communicate with parents. I love getting photos throughout the day, and they strike the perfect balance with updates--enough to keep me connected without overwhelming my phone. Most importantly, my kids genuinely enjoy going to KinderCare. They love their teachers, they love seeing their friends, and they come home excited to tell me about what they learned. The staff and our kids teachers became family. We only switched because our oldest went into elementary school and we had to find one closer to their school. You can't ask for a better place. They have online frequent updates, divided secure classrooms with lots of open windows and visibility, and set curriculum at every single age to advance your kids learning. Currently our oldest child is already at math and reading above her grade level and I credit the continued support this Kindercare provided us.

Indeed, Foothill Montessori is not just a daycare for toddlers and infants - the curriculum and staff provide schooling and learning just like they do for any other age group. I can't say enough good things about my son's Teachers (called "Guides"). Their respect for each child and their ability to teach and manage toddlers - all while maintaining utmost safety within the classroom - is second to none! The curriculum also includes a fantastic music program (which our little guy adores), as well as specific emotional / social development teaching by a dedicated (and amazing) staff-person. Not only have the education and experiences been great for our little guy, but the setting itself is nothing short of pristine. Most other schools (and especially daycares) are slightly dingy and also noisy. Not Foothill Montessori. The building is beautiful, light-filled, and extremely well-maintained. And it's shockingly quiet when you walk the halls. The Teachers / Guides are clearly super-engaged and cultivating an environment that keeps the youngsters' attentions. Most important, the entire staff knows and cares for each and every child. The leadership team and front-office staff seem to know everyone's name. I've observed them greeting by name every single parent and child who enters the school - from infants all the way up to 6th graders. I love dropping our son off to school, as I've come to consider the staff as good friends. And we've also been able to connect with fellow parents and enjoy playdates with other children. My 5 year old can name numerous insect body parts, count to 20 in Spanish, doing addition and subtraction on her own, solar systems, and the list goes on and on. She comes home excited about learning and explains in detail what she learned that day. For this age group, I know what a challenge they can be. Ms Mary, our whole family loves her. My daughter asks why she can't come on trips with us. She makes such an effort to love and support the children. She finds their interests and treats every child like they are her own.
