Came here to get my MacBook Pro (silver) screen fixed and the experience was very inconvenient. When I initially called to see if the repair was possible, the manager said he'd have to locate the part before moving forward. After some back and forth, I end up taking my laptop in for inspection and provided with two replacement options - used or new. The store employee quoted me the respective prices, approximately $450 and $500. I opt for a used replacement and put a 50% deposit down. A couple of weeks pass and I pick up my laptop. The replacement screen was space gray, not silver. Two different colors, whatever. A few scratches on the external surface and glass slightly damaged where the screen connects to the keyboard, all good. The underside cover was loose, as the screws were not fully in place. Pointed it out and they tightened it up. I shrug it off because I mainly care that it works. I turn it on and the screen works fine. I pay my balance and leave. Shortly after taking it home, I go to turn the webcam on (which is major because I work from home and have to video conference). The webcam doesn't work. I call back and inform the shop. The employee says he'll connect with the manager because he's the only one who understands these kind of repairs. After some correspondence, I let them know I'd like a new replacement and that I'll pay the difference. The employee says he'll need to confirm pricing. They return with a higher price than I was originally quoted for a new part, approximately $630-650. That's $130-150 MORE. Why? Because the price of such parts fluctuates in the market. Fair enough. I can understand that. However, I expected them to honor the original quote. It really seemed like they were taking advantage of the situation to make more money. It is NOT my fault nor responsibility to ensure that the shop sources fully-functioning parts and performs due diligence. I will not pay the exorbitant difference. To this day, my webcam does not work. I do not trust to take my laptop back here and don't want to deal with the inconvenience and excuses. read more

Went here to get a new battery yesterday (6/11/20), guy says it'll take 20 minutes. Around two hours has passed and he hasn't updated me or told me what was going on. He finally gets out of the room behind the store counter and tells me my home button wasn't working and can fix it. I NEVER had a problem with my home button up until i handed it to the dude (his name's Peter). He never owned up to messing it up, and when I ask him how that happened he never gave a straight answer. He never let me talk, just talks over people loudly. He either tried to pull a scam or messed up the battery repair but won't admit it and never told me what was going on. He offered to get it repaired but he was gonna CHARGE me for the messed up home button, even though it was NEVER a problem up until i handed my phone to him. I said no, and he just charged me $20 for the battery change instead of $60. tl;dr: went in to get a battery changed, came out with a fucked up home button and a questionable new battery (my phone AFTER going there died randomly, with battery at 62% to 0%) and he tried to charge me to fix the home button that he messed up. the blonde lady was nice tho. the dude on the other hand messed up my phone, didn't apologize, didn't explain what was going on, and talked over me the whole time. No thanks. Go to real professionals. It was a waste of time and money. read more

I was in the store a few days ago because my phone drained fast. Guy sold me a new battery for $ 24, but phone kept draining fast. Went back, gave me another battery, same problem. Paid another $ 10 for diagnostics. Came back an hour later, guy told me he exchanged the battery again for another new one. Phone kept draining fast. Went to another store and put a new battery in it. Works perfectly now!! Not sure if the guy pulled a fast one on me, or if all their batteries are defective, but I am very unhappy about that place now. read more

Worst customer service ever!!! Avoid the Edinburg store at all costs. Took my sons phone to be fixed and the glass was replaced and then the camera didnt work. The glass started coming off almost immediately. After 2 weeks the glass came off completely and broke. When I took it in, the so called manager said since it was physical damage they could not fix it under warranty. Well there would not have been physical damage if the damn glass wouldnt have kept coming off! Then he says the frame of the phone was bent. It was like that when we brought it! That happened when the phone was initially dropped. Why dont you look at the phone before working on it and telling the customer if it can be fixed properly or not!? WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Wont back up their work. $140 down the drain. Dont waste your time or money. read more
