When we went to Florida for a week and a half, I accidentally packed too little food. Jill called and said that she could have their food and it would be added to our bill which was no problem. Toaster has digestive issues when new types of food is introduced but it usually only last for a couple days so I was okay with her having different food. Jill then calls me and tells me she remembered her issue and offers to go out and buy a bag of her normal food. Wow! I was amazing at how willing she was to make sure that my pup felt comfortable and happy with her and the team. She definitely goes out of her way to make all of the pups and owners feel safe and special. Recently, we bought a daycare package with them and Toaster has been opening up so much, she's a shy gal. The ladies absolutely love her and she feels so safe and comfortable with them. They've been so accommodating of her timidness and even gave her one on one time for the first few days before putting her in with the group. We absolutely love HAFH and the team that works there! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe and engaging environment for their doggies.

We have used Fetchers for several years and our pets typically come home with minor issues - eye…read moreinfection, ear infection, kennel cough (once), but our recent visit was SIGNIFICANTLY different. After a 5 day boarding stay, our large dog came home with a partially ripped out toenail, red and inflamed toes on another foot, an eye infection, an ear infection, and punctures and deep tissue bruising on his neck from an e-collar. After a very expensive visit to the vet, we learned that he also has a staph infection on his feet and neck. While I understand that minor injuries can and do happen when dogs play, these are outside of the realm of what I would consider acceptable. Shannon, the manager, was responsive and accountable, which is why I am giving a two star review as opposed to one star. Her communication was professional and she followed up daily to check on our dog. Jack, the owner, was accusatory and went so far as to suggest that we caused the injuries to our own dog. He spent 40 minutes telling me that they have excellent quality control and that their staff finds injuries and doesn't cause them. At one point I had to get my husband on the phone to attest to the fact that he removed our dog's e-collar the day of pickup, which is absolutely ridiculous. When Jack asked me how I knew that the injuries happened at his facility, I responded that our dog arrived without injuries and was picked up with injuries. I am not sure that it can get more clear than that. I am hugely disappointed in Jack's refusal to take responsibility or handle my concerns with even the smallest amount of compassion. He swiftly and effectively removed any consideration I had of continuing our boarding relationship with Fetchers. This whole ordeal has cost us nearly $1,500 and begrudgingly Fetchers has agreed to pay $554 of one of the vet bills, as well as a credit on account for a future visit. Jack was condescending, insensitive, and refused to take any sort of accountability for my dog's injuries. If you choose to use this facility, beware.

Animal Acres Pet Boarding - The owner telling me she's going to get rid of my cats

    Animal Acres Pet Boarding

Shit business the owners a bitch. I thought this boarding place that is now under a different name…read morepurple paw was going to be a great place to place my 2 cats while I was in between houses. I talked to the owner char and made a deal with her to work for her to cover the costs of my boarding of my 2 cats which I had no problems with I worked there as much as my schedule allowed I told them from the start that I was able to work 2 days a week they took advantage of that really quickly knowing I work 40hrs at Amazon anyways she backed out on the deal because I got sick with pneumonia told her I couldn't work for a week and now has my cats hostage because I couldn't pay over $400 for 2 weeks of boarding when I haven't worked(been off work since the 1st I told them the week before Easter I wasn't coming in then she told me day before Easter that I had to pay the over $400 this last Monday 4/18) and she knows that. So she is surrendering my cats to a place I have no idea where she won't tell me out of spite thinking I faked my sickness after providing proof(doc note) that I was in fact sick. The manager there Tracy she doesn't give a fuck about her job she half asses it she's also basically homeless so she lives there but she won't really do anything if the facility isn't technically open so if it's not between 8-12 or 5-8 she won't do anything for your animal even though she's there. (And yes she does make fun of you guys saying your snobby for asking her to do things when the facility isn't open like let your dog out or feed it at a certain time) the time they get let out when I was working there was maybe 5 min I actually played with the pups she doesn't she lets them out then locks them back up in the "suites" they are just bigger kennels. Also the owner doesn't believe in Covid or vaccines for people or animals I'm pretty sure that's where I caught my pneumonia and your animals will more than likely get sick being there I mean most dogs are up to date on shots but there's always one that slips through the cracks. Cats wise if you have a cat don't expect it to see any love basically they go in spend maybe 20 min in the room for the day just enough time to clean the litter of all the cats in there make sure there is a scoop of food and some water then gone till the next day. When I was there I let the cats out that were social while I was cleaning the cat room(I spent a good hr and a half in there so the cats would get love). And for the 15/a day for the cat condos they are cheaply put together cat enclosures that I was told were put together wrong and are really unstable which I can say they are unstable I have moved them they are flimsy. Honestly I would choose anywhere else to put my animal this place isn't worth it I know this is me being petty but you can see how the owner was talking to me I tried to go back and get more but she did something to the convo where I couldn't get anymore of it. P.s. that message says I only have $3 in my bank account.

If whomever is on the schedule isn't able to make it there, the animals won't be let out!! I'm scared to think what would happen if it were snowing and no one was able to make it out there - it's in the country and no one is around during the day.
