One price online another when I got here. Ridiculous. Third time it's happened to me on this trip…read more Whenever I did something "touristy" I'd be scammed for 3xs the cash so I think I'll just stick to locals, they're clear on what you're getting.

The place has great potential and great employees. You can definitely tell that it is new because…read morethe rooms are really nice and the architecture is well put together. But it needs to make some adjustments before it can be a great place. The food can be better. They try too hard to make it gourmet that it takes away from the taste. I believe the best meal (that I tried) on the menu was the club sandwich and the tortilla soup. The jacuzzi... Well let's just say it is a whirlpool. Its cold! Jacuzzi's are supposed to be hot. And yes I asked them to turn on the heater; their excuse was that it gets hot with the sun. That's not a jacuzzi. Management, you need to fix that. Their game room: By the way, there's no ping pong table so don't look for one. Their pool table has a broken triangle. You can't even rack the balls right. The pool sticks are also broken. And that's all that you can basically do in the game room. Every night, when we would turn on the AC, we would wake up to a huge puddle of water. This is the first hotel that I've been in, with an HVAC that leaks water on the inside. Not only is it dangerous but completely wrong considering that the floors are tile and slippery. Lastly, this is more of an amenity issue but it seems that this hotel caters to business people, which means that they cater to people outside of Mexico. Granted that this hotel is hidden, they should have an actual store with usual items that people would like to have during their stay; Including small snacks and possibly an ATM. They have a small store, not really anything in it. Not sure how different the laws are now, but I remember staying in Puerto Vallarta and the lobby has a currency exchange center, which was really helpful. This is just an added bonus that would make this place better. As I said, the potential is there. My favorite part was the soccer field however, it was very wet since we went during the rainy season. And the people were nice; Especially Monica (the waitress).
