Dirty water. Filthy rooms. I genuinely don't know what happened since the last 20 times I've stayed here, but whatever changed has turned this place into a complete disaster. This hotel has fallen to a 2-star level at best. I am beyond upset with the horrible service, the terrible bed sheets, the dirty rooms, and the cheap Dove soap and conditioner. Everything feels downgraded. Even the basics are gone -- no coffee in the morning, no water in the rooms, and practically no service after 10 p.m. The bar closes at 11. It feels like the hotel is being run by people who have no idea what 5-star service means. I'm honestly appalled. I'm packing up and getting out of here. This place has sunk to a -10. The only good thing left is Juan in Bio Services, who is the only one still providing real hospitality. As a world traveler who has stayed here many times, it breaks my heart to see how low this hotel has dropped. It must be under new management that simply has no understanding of customer service or luxury. Truly sad. Agua sucia. Habitaciones sucias. Parece que este hotel ahora está manejado por personas que no saben lo que significa un servicio de 5 estrellas. Estoy verdaderamente indignado. Estoy empacando y me voy de aquí. Este lugar ha caído a un -10. Lo único bueno que queda es Juan en Bio Services, quien sigue ofreciendo verdadera hospitalidad. Friendly staff, beautiful rooms and killer food!! I had the most amazing time during my stay. I held an event for 70+ people and they executed it seamlessly! The lounge on the 8th floor was amazing. It's complimentary if you stay in a suite. I have to say the best part of my stay was the massage I got at the spa. It was probably the best massage of my life!! read more

I am an extremely picky reviewer and rarely give hotels a 4 plus rating. I really like this hotel for a few reasons: 1) The staff is amazing 2) Parts of the hotel are very well appointed. Such as the bar area outside and the pool area 3) The rooms are spacious and have nice balconies 4) The food is pretty good and they pour a healthy cocktail The only two negatives are the towels and the mattresses. The towels are big but feel like sandpaper and the mattress feels like it's filled with sand. read more

The one thing that is outstanding is customer service. Every single hotel employee I interacted with was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very clean and well taken care of. South facing rooms wit terrace are probably the best because there's plenty of shade and a nice view of the pool and city. Free internet and two free beers daily in the minibar. We had room service a couple of times. Very good quality food at reasonable prices. Free valet parking. read more

Stayed on business, ok check in. Good safe location and really good size room with king bed. Bedroom was spotlessly clean and a good size. Bathroom very nice too. Room comes with complimentary water two bottles, complimentary beer 2 bottles and coke 2 cans. Breakfast is really good. Buffet and Spanish food options as well as normal omlet fare. Coffee is the only downside, really not strong enough at all for me. There is an outside patio and bar which is really nice too. read more

This is the second time in three years we ate at the restaurant and again it was absolutely awful. Before ordering the caesar salad I asked whether the dressing was homemade and not bottled. The waiter assured me it was, so I ordered it. The salad came with lots of chopped tomatoes -- always a sign of a bad caesar --- and a bottled dressing. The romaine was also slightly wilted. I had also ordered a margerita pizza, which was the most disgusting pizza I have ever eaten. My husband will eat anything and even he said it was the worst pizza he had ever eaten. Not sure even how to describe it. I love cheesy, goopy pizzas, but this one was mucky and the texture was more like eating lasagna. The service and setting were good, but that didn't offset the almost inedible food. It also made us remember that we had a similarly terrible meal the last time we stayed at the hotel. For a hotel of this stature with such a beautiful dining room setting, it's beyond disappointing that the food is some of the worst we've ever had. read more

The facilities are very spacious and in good condition yet the service of the reception isn't the best. They couldn't give me quality information and I had to wait to get my room. I was expecting 5 stars service. They are still working at the spa. I was expecting a to find a jacuzzi. And the gym should be better equipped. The rooms are very nice and clean. Went to a wedding this weekend and spent the night Sunday night... loved the place, very comfortable and clean. I am very picky about hotels and this one wasn't as expensive... will definitely stay here in the future again. read more
